It’s the opposite of fair play.

Bots still completely destroying the market. Get rid of them once and for all. Tired of all the cheats. Stub bans were a great first step, next the bots. Then finish with the cheating devices. Clean up the mess.

The bots are unbearable right now. It’s possible 40%-50% of ALL market activity atm are from bots responding to bids and sales. It’s hard to sell this “fair play” message without doing any kind of enforcement against market bots.

Yeah banning the people buying 3rd party stubs or doing transfers was a great start but the bots continue to be a massive problem.

Even if it means severely limiting app transactions again so be it. At least the market was viable then and not overrun by bots.

I’ve done almost of my flipping on like 5 days this year when the market was stabilized. The remaining 99% of days it hasn’t been worth the hassle.

I am somewhat afraid to use the market as this is the only game I play and I don't want to be banned. I do flip cards occasionally and I enjoy flipping as I feel it's part of the game but not wanting to be banned even though it's legal. Looks like quite a few people are getting caught up in the net that shouldn't be. Need more surgical strikes and less casting of wide nets.

This whole mess is so easily fixed. This isn't New York Stock Exchange the Show!

This is MLB The Show. Point being people shouldn't be purchasing a baseball video game in order to play virtual stock broker online! Issue card vouchers as the guaranteed reward for successfully completing any contest. The voucher is graded at a guaranteed level, and so once earned, the customer can select from any one of all the cards at equal or lesser value.

There won't be any need then for folks to have to trade for the cards they want. If they earn the voucher, they can then select whatever card they desire. Same should be true for equipment, but I think we should have ended the idea that equipment was tied to performance in any way whatsoever. Make all the equipment selectable up front and customers can tailor their players as they want.

BTW: This philosophy is already becoming the norm for sports video games. 2K Sports and EA Sports are both releasing their latest sports games devoid of these community markets and equipment limits. With their games, I just create my avatar player and suit him up in whatever equipment I want.

So, SDS is trailing behind their competition, and that is certainly a refrain often pointed out. I just wonder when the suits at SDS will have the cluebirds descend on their shoulders and they figure that out!

What? No. They just need to get rid of the bots! This game is great when maintained properly and it’s pathetic that all over the internet people are begging for fixes. The market is literally unplayable this weekend. I’ve had bids sitting all weekend. It’s so bizarre to find the market in the worst shape of the season for the entire weekend right after this big fair play thank you or whatever. I’d like to thank you for providing an atmosphere for fair play, so please, For the 500th time, GET RID of the bots in the marketplace and restore integrity to the market so fair play can happen in your game.

Seriously, why did you buy this game? To play baseball video games, or to practice (pretend) to be a stock broker online? I start to seriously wonder if someone could make a mint by actually making a stock broker video game and perhaps sprinkling in a baseball game here and there -- SDS might sue for copyright infringement!

You’re not even making sense. This thread is about the current stage of the marketplace. And the current state is that it sucks because bots are everywhere.
