The game does a great job of not feeling rewarding.
When you do pull a diamond, it has far less value relative to past years because you have to buy so many more cards with stubs.

How do I stop getting all these garbage mlb the show packs. Can I opt out of them? Only two cards worth any value now in them. Odds are .0001 percent of getting them. Stop wasting my time making me open these trash packs. We are at the point now...nothing earned should be less than a ballin is a habit pack.
Take your 50 pack bundle at the end of the mp program, besides the chase pack and shove those 50 packs up your...where the sun doesnt shine.

I'm just waiting on Ohtani & Judge's market super inflation to correct itself. Or maybe these $800k and $600k prices are permanent? There's still a 50% stub sale on PlayStation so I don't see a correction anytime soon. If I weren't looking forward to the 99 Negro League content then I may have given up on this game already. Really seems like they've given up or just don't care.

The fact a chase pack is a low live series diamond 99% of the time is a joke. At the very least it should be guaranteed to be one of the chase cards. At this point of the year nickel and diming your player base is ridiculous.

The guaranteed Chase packs do eventually come, but you typically have to wait until the Forever era.
