Weekend Classic League Issue

My current rating is 700 because I couldn’t play any games this ranked season. When I go to play weekend classic, I start in Bronze I League (0-399). Does anyone know why it’s not starting in Gold league? Am I required to play at least one game to allow the rating to affect Weekend Classic? The weird part is when I go to load into a game, the search for opponent section automatically starts at between 650-750 rating.

Duplicate post, but someone said it’s cuz you didn’t play that your rating went down.

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS if my rating went down, it shouldn’t show that my current rating is 700, right? And when I go to play a game, the bar should be lower as well? These bronze rewards are awful and not even worth playing, to be honest, so it’s just a bummer haha

Yeah you need to play a game during that season of ranked in order to get placed in a league for WC.
