I Remember
-
There used to be 3 inning bosses as well.....
And you could earn all 3 not have to buy one off the market. Inning paths also use to give out mor XP and were longer with better rewards, I predict the first couple of packs up 100XP will be
6 show packs
2 Ballin is a Habbit pack
All Star game pack (not the expensive ones)
some stubs
The first player reward
Rising Rookies pack
And a headliner pack -
- Collections have taken over for bosses.
- Chase cards have also taken over for bosses
- Switch hitters are more valued than HOFers
- Draft picks get high 90s cards before legend like Mantle, Mays, or Musial
- Power trumps all.
Inning bosses only cost time and a little grinding to earn. The game no longer rewards grinding, whether they are short or long grinds. The game rewards those who have the most stubs.

Willi Castro > Willie Mays to that crowd
I love Willi Castro cards. He had a good week once (yes, I've used that joke before).
-
This is by far the worst sports game ever made and it’s not even close.
-
Dustin and Singleton are pretty useful cards. The problem is - we need another mode that gives us reason to use all these cards. They can't just keep giving you awesome rewards - you have nowhere to use them! (or else they're just as good as the cards you already have, so who cares?).
If I were required to play some games with a Pirates theme team, then I'd be delighted to have a lot of these rewards - would have a place to use them.
-
I remember when inning bosses use to be the elite, cards you just had to have. Players that truly stand out....they so have gone away from that format this year. By not it should be well established players who automatically earn a spot on your team. Seems like this game is on its peak decline which I hate. By sixth inning it should be atleast the elite players. You went from trout and othani to Dustin and singleton. If that isn't throwing in the towel I don't know what is
WTH are yu smoking? Are you seriously trying to say neither of the 2 XP season 5 cards are good and that neither of the new season 6 cards are? Yeah kinda sound like you have NO idea what you are talking about. Sound like those people who complain and say LS should be way easy to complete because those rewards won't be good in August lol.

Pepperidge Farm remembers…

Guys like Mike Schmidt are out of the game because the people that matter to SDS don't give a rat's [censored] about how good the player actually was. Willi Castro > Willie Mays to that crowd
Hey you do realize you can build your team however you want right? You DON'T have to just run switch hitters. I currently only have 2-3 in my line up and 1 on the bench. I do just fine righty/righty or lefty/lefty. No one is forcing you not use who you want and I would argue due to the MODS system this year it's even easier to.

Well technically you are forced to run certain cards in event games, but again you wanna run a pirates theme team due it. I would agree that due to the fact they have quietly fazed out captian boosts that it isn't as fun, but i still due sometimes.

Not just any DustinPedroia, the 2nd Dustin Pedro in the Awards collection. I can't wait until we get 12 more PCAs.
Right now if you were a Dustin Pedroia fan and wanted to collect his 2 cards it would cost you around 1.5 million stubs! That should never be the case.

I cant use Mike Schmidt because he was taken out of the game.

@rubicante23_PSN Agree completely.
The one area where 2K always beat this game was the fact it has a salary cap mode.
I'm weird in that i play non-meta cards all the time, but many don't, so a ton of good cards get almost zero run.
Give us a mode with a cap, or even make captains relevant again.
