@rubicante23_PSN 100% agreed. Lets be fair even if we were part of the people complaining....it falls on deaf ears. lol. I need Skenes, and one of the expensive AS cards, however i see peters price has dropped.

The marketplace is way over inflated, Beltran collection is not out of reach yet but if there isn't a hard correction in the market in the near future, that collection will soon be out of reach.

@DrBear100_PSN the simple correction is do you what u have in the past drop more cards from the sets needed stop adding these bs ones. Like drop more prime signature post season.

I'm guessing there will be. I could have stretched and completed the collection, but instead I sold off everything that I thought was overpriced (AS Stanton, Egg Hunt Mookie, a bunch of Awards). They'll come back down again. I wouldn't be surprised if SDS added Mookie as a Weekend Classic reward (like they did with St. Pat's Mike Trout a few months ago).

Okay, a bunch of people are gonna yell at me and call me names for this post....but, let me just talk to the experienced vets who have played for a while.
This Beltran collection is easy, right? This feels like "thanks for continuing to play this game and paying attention and not moving on to another game - here's your free Beltran." It doesn't feel like a tough endgame quest for a player that's been invested in the game since day one.
Don't really need Pujols, Tulo, or Felix. Don't need the Babe. Can skip two all star cards. Several other collections have skippable cards. Need Mookie and Leiter, but you could just skip those two collections.
This feels like, if you paid attention and scooped up cards during flash sales in the past like you should, you're pretty much set. If this collection was on your mind for long, you probably over-prepared.
Way easier than I anticipated. I was over prepared by about a million stubs.
I can actually try out Perdomo and McGee if I want, but probably not until they drop.

I mean, there were SO many obvious things you could've done to prepare...
Buy a bunch of O'Days for 20k, resell for 80k
Invest in Mookie or Strider
Pick up Chase and low-supply cards during flash sales
Etc.If you did any of those things, you should be floating in money.
People keep talking about Leiter, but why would you want him? Just skip that collection.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN they clearly had no plan for this year - two last ride cards? Three primes? Two finest? They didn't think this through at all - why is there no plan at the beginning of year, lol

Eh, I think it's "easier" then I expected, but still not "easy" in itself.

It's not as bad as it first looked. Depending on how you play it, what collections you skip and whether you already had V. Mart, there's 3 or 4 high end cards that you'll have to have. That's resonable.
I wonder if this is the last one since there's no extra voucher on Jolt this time.

I would tell people if you don’t have the cards to get him now wait. We are in that point of game that we are only getting 97+ cards. So this is the time we will be seeing HOF, prime, signature cards, Finest etc., even one card in their category will tank the other cards

That would be my guess. Considering there is 10 more Jolt cards. One more drop and they could be saving the duo or trio for the end.

@KenKen71412_MLBTS i dont know it feels they've mailed it in, you'll have finest collections but that might be it. SDS has been extremely lazy. so i'm not holding my breath.

After locking in everything and spending what I earned from selling cards I ended up not needing, I'm now just five cards away from beltran. But unfortunately, at current prices those five cards will cost roughly a million stubs. What a grind! Lol

I agree that it's easier than expected. I didn't stock up on as many cards as I could've but I still did well and can definitely finish now but I'm waiting until at least the weekend classic to finish a few sets. I might just buy an over priced strider because I can afford it and don't any to pay a stupid amount for a card you can actively pull
