Fire the decision maker who took away ranked and battle royale online award programs, right this second. Go into their office and terminate them on the spot. Reason for termination.. decision making detrimental to their casual player base. Incompetence and idiocy.

@Nickc22_MLBTS I mean there is a difference between being upset and borderline going on a we the people rant. If this game affects you that much you don’t need to be playing it anyways. I dont see how this isn’t as bad as just blindly accepting the game for what it is.

I agree with you but also I think the real point everyone misses is they don’t hate the game they hate what’s happened to it. They still play because it’s baseball and it’s still somewhat fun. I think coming in a forum and expressing their feelings on a game is exactly what a forum is for. You can almost say you commenting on their post is just as dumb as the post itself. If you don’t agree with it then just move on. But people choose to do it right? I do agree that some people just want to watch the world burn and it’s annoying but sometimes the constructive negative comments do carry some weight.

a lot have moved on and want to play and have fun playing and can't because of the issues.Edit for better wording : we want to have fun playing, but haven't had fun playing cause of the mess the game is in.

@Nickc22_MLBTS what is a constructive negative comment? Some of the stuff some of yall say isn’t constructive at all. You have a right to say what you want but doesn’t mean you always need to throttle it. There is a different between criticism and constructive criticism.

It's fine to voice your opinions here.
As I said I did not watch the video or know the creator so I am not sure how respectful he was in his thoughts.
The one thing that bothers me in this forum is the sheer amount of vitriol people bring to the forums along with their complaints. I have made a number of complaints this year, mainly about the sheer number of Pack Cards and the WBC exploit, but not once have I resorted to calling the devs names or saying that people should lose their jobs.
Being mean, nasty and disrespectful when voicing your complaints will get them dismissed faster than making a nonsensical argument.

I'll say it... whoever on their communicates team that is pumping out all the lies (pci, wbc, asg mvp, ultra pack glitch) needs to be fired.

It’s either flat out lying or unbelievably bad communication between departments and people within the company. I’d venture to say it’s more miscommunication but then when doubled down with lying it’s pretty unforgivable.

Taking away Battle Royal rewards/program was the one of the dumbest things they EVER did. The mode is pointless now. -
@NWOStunna_PSN just to list a few these where good way to add cards they got rid of br flawless/program, ta, captains. Like why are they making less seem like a good think it’s good for them not us they are putting more cards in packs than ever. And cards behind collection walls. This game has rly taken a step back from previous titles.

Oh yeah, I forgot how there were actually cards in the battle royal program. And you would use those cards to gain xp and advance. I totally forgot about that! Yeah, they should had kept it how it was and then still had “events” and “multi-player” program.
It was an extra mode that was fun.

@NWOStunna_PSN br is the saddest place on earth now i remember one year i speed ran that program and sold the card for a mill. And yeah the golds and silvers even from those which I didn’t even consider in my numbers that’s how we got that insane gold Willi castro that year. It’s literally just people who cheat to sell stubs. The hardest part isn’t winning 10 games in that mode it’s actually getting 10 legit opponents.

This video or anything I post isn't about changing or infusing anyone's opinion. I think we can all agree this game has seen better days.
If I hope to accomplish anything it would be for SDS to wake up and realize, they have one of the most dedicated fanbases. They have spent years building and deserve credit for the hard work that has been put into this game. But all of that will be gone. Years of hard work, put in by some great people. Gone, if this continues. This game is on the verge of becoming a disaster. What's going to bring us back next year? I know SDS has no control over the upcoming labor dispute. But if someone is fed up and puts this game down right now and doesn't have a reason to play again until 2028? What then?!? And I've seen or heard nothing that makes me think they get it.
I guess my point is, you can't pump games full of steroids to bring the fans back like it's the mid to late 90s.

@NWOStunna_PSN br was great. Im telling you the decision to take awesome things away like that is unforgiveable. I couldnt believe all of that was gone when I purchased 2024 version of the game.
Like seriously how dumb is this new management team or the people making decisions over there now? Resign your position. Like seriously get lost.

Sorry the guy is an SDS homer, he has trashed people saying their opinion on the game and said it’s irrelevant. He was praising them for the allstar and draft content, then he is taking a month off and trashes SDS.

I don’t get that they don’t hear this push back from the community. By far the worst. Literally free advice from hundreds of streamers. Same streamers that help sell your game and you don’t listen to any of it.

I watched and 100% agree with his thoughts and views. As I’ve said before it’s one thing to be negative about a game and just trash them, but it’s another thing to have a company lie and gaslight its community and then have the audacity to ask for surveys and tell us how the game is while doing nothing to fix it. There’s so much wrong with this game this year and imo sds knew this game was broken beyond repair but they put it out anyways because they needed a profit. They used to listen to the community and creators used to be big influences and the game was for the most part always fair and balanced. This was by far the best online sports game to play but now it’s so vile and predatory towards money. For everyone that says well then don’t play it, you’re the reason this game is so pathetic. You’re a sheep and you would jump off a cliff if your buddy went. People are so passionate about their thoughts because most of us have families and jobs and for a couple hours a week we want to forget reality and just play our favorite pastime game. We don’t get to spend hours a day grinding for stuff we probably won’t get. We want to hop in the game do some missions and play but we keep getting booted out or deal with cheaters or cards hid behind paywalls. It ruins the fun for the majority of this games base and it’s so sad that sds has no awareness of what’s going on or they do and they just don’t care. We aren’t asking them to split a atom or solve world hunger. All we want is to be heard and to just play a game that can both satisfy online and offline players. Surely it can’t be that hard to appease people. I get your not ever going to make everyone happy and people are always going to find something to complain about but this years game is well deserved of all its criticism. If it was playable and half way decent then yea maybe we would be over exaggerating but this years game is beyond pathetic.
Listening to creators is an easy way to kill a game. Most (notice not all) creators only care about views and making a buck because they're too lazy to get a real job. There are a few good ones out there but most are just fake pieces of [censored]. Tells you where we are in society when people are giving these degenerates money. No different than OnlyFans. If you are one of those that give money to a woman online you are a simp.
