Jackie Robinson - Stage 1 Missions

I have quite a few missions that I can finish in Stage 1 still - as it shows 35/35 points earned. Am I to interpret this as - even though I still have 30 points worth of incomplete missions in Stage 1, I cannot earn more than 35 points - is that correct?
I have Stage 2 missions open. I figured I would multitask as I was working towards 42 innings with Gold Jackie in conquest and I would also work on SBs and RBIs with Dodgers...
Is my understanding correct? Thanks in advance for the response!

Thats not the question.. The questions is whether or not there is a max of 35 points that can be accumulated in stage 1.
Edit: I ask the question because stats in Stage 1 are no longer tallying (RBIs and SBs in conquest). I have reached 35 points in Stage 1.

Max 35. You can get JR offline, but get screwed for the extra stuff unless you play online.
