I saw it earlier on ps store it’s rly just as bad as what we have here he’s just telling himself it’s better.
There is no legitimate way you can write that before you have even played the game. I'm sure SDS appreciates your fan boy commentary, but I doubt you'll receive any check in the mail!
That said, I saw the four minute video clip from their website. Let me say that based on what can actually be gleaned from a promo video, the pitches look far more natural. Curve balls actually look and act like curve balls, with sharp break, and the same is true for sliders. The bat to ball sounds are much better than what SDS has in MLB The Show.
The graphics look a bit better and the game play at least in the promo video flows smoother. Will that translate to the consoles? Honestly, that is to be seen. And clearly no promo video will show if there are any bugs in the menus or game play.
However, the game is strictly focused on the Nippon League, Korean League, and other trans Pacific baseball leagues, but it does go all the way into high school play. It also features several really cute baseball groupies, so that's kind of nice!
One negative, at least for me, is that it appears it is released only for Playstation consoles. I do not see any listings for it on my X-Box console.

Jeez, guys, get a room. A game with a 20-year-old physics engine is not realistic, especially not compared to this new game. And it hasn't been realistic for over a decade. Get a grip, guys. Competition is best for everybody. The game we want is never coming back bootlickers man.

All I ask is a company that follows thru with promises makes a game. Cause I’m sorry let’s go thru this year so far. First week shrinkage issue people coming in here saying “hey u guys said u where removing shrinkage wtf.” We beat that horse for a month until we finally get an answer “hey we decided not to remove shrinkage.” Oh ok so basically u lied thru ur teeth and falsely advertised to up sales real hot start. Then about 3 weeks to a month in oh hey a discord we leaked with thousands and thousands of people using a device to cheat on ur game. Leaked by a very big streamer in ur community balls in ur court again Sds what will they do. Oh ok I get it this is harder to pick up but u as a multi million dollar company need to have a way to deliberately know if people are cheating I’m sorry. And ok so another swing and miss so what now we are 6 weeks removed from the wbc glitch and have u guys heard one person say they have been banned yet no cause they haven’t. Sds takes there community as fools and its sad. U can clearly go back to that day and see who did that glitch the exploiters. U guys rly need to stop pissing on ur community’s back and saying it’s raining I’m a long time player and just hate to see the direction this game has gone. And that’s not even to mention the servers and all the minor issues this year such as the game not being playable till multiple hours after a update. Competition or not all I want is a game that listens to there community.

I did read that it was available for Steam too, so that tells me it would have to be available for Windows, and I'm almost positive. You can play PC games on an Xbox with the right setup. Hope that helps!

@PriorFir4383355_XBL I just don’t feel like wasting 80$ on a game that I’ll maybe play for a week. Bo2 is only 25$ on ps store we revamped graphics may give that a go.

If you enjoy the new game great then have fun playing it.
I still don't get the live for the graphics as the few stadiums I have seen did not appeal to me. The grass is a flat green. The field with the infield all of dirt looks bad in my opinion.
It doesn't have, at least to my knowledge, any DD style mode. It does not have recognizable characters except those few who also played in the majors
The Show has lots of problems currently but new game wonthold the conversation long. It's currently shiny and new.
But for those who enjoy great! Play your heart out.

@Dolenz_PSN yeah it not having an ultimate team mode is why I won’t waste my money. I also find it looks very cartoon like the only thing that looks somewhat good are players and bat and ball physics. But the backdrops of stadiums literally look like the show 06.

This seems like a very easy choice…American baseball or Korean baseball…if I wanted to play with Korean leagues then I would have just imported those teams and players into a franchise on the show.
Like if you hate this game so much, then stop playing it and stop posting about how much you hate it. People just don’t care, SDS included. I hate the local grocery store near me so you know what I do…I don’t go there and shop elsewhere, but I don’t [censored] about it to everyone else relentlessly, again, because no one cares!!

It's the right of everyone to voice complaints, especially about stuff you paid your hard earned money for.

I wonder about that expression, cause in my 51 years I've never met anyone that didn't have money that wasn't hard earned( and I worked customer service and saw thousands of ppl a day)

But a time comes when complaining about the same things over and over to the tune of dozens of posts saying the exact same thing. Like come on man. It gets beyond tiring doesn’t it? It’s like we are becoming masochists at this point and just want to make sure others know. Now on the flip side of the coin, if SDS really “wanted our feedback” then great let’s really let them have it. But they clearly don’t care, therefore if we really wanted to display our anger for what has been given to us as a bug ridden baseball sim, than we should leave the forums all together. It would display our true anger if SDS saw zero comments then hundreds everyday. Wouldn’t you agree?

Well, let me ask a fair question. What is more likely to engender SDS to get off their duffs and actually take pride in their game again? Nothing but fan boys making their rounds, or at least a steady presence of people who take the time to fairly criticize what is wrong and also address what can reasonably be made better?
I'm retired. So, I have the time. A few minutes each day doesn't keep me from doing anything truly important.

And the money I also get. Everyone has spent money on something they regret and everyone has also had a situation where they have had eat their losses and move, while learning from that mistake. Don’t make the same mistake next year.
