    My Mistake.

I thought he meant they said it would be part of the program.

Unless they changed their tune since that time then I concede that they lied. But I am too lazy too check further.

    Thanks for the correction.

@kenken71412_PSN They won’t care as long as people continue buying the game. Don’t buy this game next year. Never buy stubs.

If GTA 6 is amazing this may happen. It will only be about 4 months old (if it comes out on time) and looks to be a ton of things to do. MLB with all the collections and chase packs has become a full time job. I play a lot and still a ways from Victor. This is what happens when you never pull Judge, Ohtani, chase packs or rare rounds. Just playing the game takes a ton of time to get collections done. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. I had to spend 100k last night on the WBC collection and not sure I am done yet. I'll have to check tonight. Can't remember but I probably finished that program and conquest the first week. Here I am 4 months later having to spend 100k+. These packs should be dropping like candy along with every other collection over 2 months old.

I understand this is a business and needs to make money but when you never get a bone thrown your way, you really lose the desire. Been playing PUBG more and will likely play a lot more.

Save the no one cares posts. Might want to have your marketing team on overdrive next year. You will likely need it.

Last year was getting bad, but it was understandable form the point of "it's added content they can charge for it".

This year, with all the constant issues and my 2 go to games being The Show and Mortal Kombat...it's pay us $100 for a barely done product that we're going to keep trying to squeeze every dollar we can out of you, while the product wasn't/isn't worth the original price to begin with.

Hopefully (wishful thinking) they get the point. Not all these posts are from people just being [censored] hurt. This game and the industry in general has gotten so far out of control that if the gaming community doesn't step up and put their wallet back in their pocket we are all going to be bled dry. It's not just SDS. It's EA, 2K, WB, etc...

And for the record, I've owned every gaming system since the Atari 2600 (Commodore 64 and Saga CD included) and have never been this discouraged and fusterated.

@GoozeFn_PSN I never buy stubs most I’ll buy is digital deluxe edition of the game and I from flipping and pulls from earned packs have been able to get any card in the game I want. Minus red Roch cause that’s just stupid.

I remember buying stubs once but that was probably 8 -10 years ago in order to get Lou Brock when he dropped. That was the only time and the last time.

The worst part of it is knowing that if Vargas or anyone else had won the MVP then the card would have been in a free program, like they said. But as soon as Ben Rice (Yankee) was announced they saw dollar signs.
SDS thinks the community is so ignorant that we can't see it.

It's almost like SDS told Helen Keller, "you complete us" and 9 months later MLBTS27 was launched.

I've never seen a company score so many own goals as SDS.

It's one thing to highlight the fact that we've gone from the card being free last year, to potentially 125k in a pack, to now 250k+ behind a collection, but to then add this deceit? It's incredibly poor.

I'm saddened by the path this is going down and it's rampant mismanagement needs to be studied.

What I really want to do is go on a Cartman style Ipad rant. (Southpark S15 E1)

SDS should at least offer us dinner and a cigarette if they're going to **** us like this. 😁

This game started its slow ebb when it started to think trinkets (such as virtual cards) were more important than the basic gameplay elements dominating the act of actually playing video baseball games! Yeah, I know, it's a radical concept nowadays to actually believe that the first duty of a company making a baseball video game is to ensure that it is the best possible game at actually playing baseball games on a console!

Trinkets, quaint arcade style pursuits, and crafty marketing has become the primary focus of SDS. They have stopped trying to be the finest baseball game it can be. Obviously, in terms of MLB licensed games, they cannot avoid being the "best" on the market because for years now they have been the ONLY game on the market!

This reflects the state of the industry. Large corporations desired to carve up the sports market such that each company carved out a monopoly. It started when EA Sports paid the NFL an insane amount of money to corner the NFL market. Other companies refused to offer up that kind of money and so they decided since they couldn't have the NFL game any longer, they would instead pursue monopolies elsewhere.

The entire industry is on the decline. We see this with large scale erosion in game quality. This is worse than what should guide all these companies -- a relentless pursuit of not only being the best in a given industry, but trying to push the technology to greater heights than before realized.

My bad... Cody Bellinger. The other Yankee. I'll leave my original post unedited and see if anyone else catches it.

What’s very interesting (to me) is that I bought stubs for the first time since ‘21. Since then, I’ve pulled Ohtani twice and judge once.

Hmmmm….(tin foil hat owners of the world unite!) 😀
