The bots are back, and they’re even dumber than before.

It looked like they were successfully removed for a while, but now they’re back to destroying the market. The behavior doesn’t even make sense anymore. Yesterday I saw someone with 44 Corbin Carroll Live Series cards listed (when cap is 20) and once those orders went through they’d be making 150 stubs under quick sell value. How does that make any sense? Has to be the same bot account because that’s too many orders of the same value.

Whether whoever programmed these bots is just bad at it or intentionally trying to wreck the market, it’s frustrating either way.

I actually prefer the cooldown every five orders. It was a small inconvenience for real players, but if that’s what it takes to slow this nonsense down, I’m all for it.

Yep. Anything that kills bots or people trying to monopolize the market is good with me. I’m even good with console only transactions if it stops this circus.

They're making it impossible to buy certain cards even when not for investing. I'm just trying to buy Cityscape Yesavage and Weatherholt for the collection...instant 1 stub upbid after instant 1 stub upbid.

Fun isn’t it? Just another thing staining this years game. At least when restrictions were in place on the app the market was significantly better on the console.

I'm just now starting to flip...my God this is awful. I thought SDS gameplay was bad...their bot detection is on par with the course. Currently there is a bot on St. Pat's Wade Boggs. 3 cards go up/down on whatever you place. Even an hour later.

I have came to the conclusion that this is planned. EVERY roster update or major event apps either down or slow. A new L&F flashback came out and same as last time margins are gone and there’s a stub sale aka you can’t make stubs but you sure can buy them and those stubs will go further. Flash sale will end “bots” will be fixed margins will be back and we will all just keep repeatedly falling for it. It’s pattern recognition at this point. And with all these streamers pushing 3rd party stubs now I think this was the last mlb the show I’m ever playing

It’s so hard to see any way where they aren’t in on it… right? It’s painfully obvious they’ve bent over to all these bad actors by disabling all filters and restrictions like they rolling out a red carpet to an open back door for all to exploit. Now, I didn’t intend for that to sound dirty, but whatever.

First off the cap for a card is only for buying them, not if you pull that card. Next just because there are 44 orders at the same price doesn't mean they are all the same person. Finally this is a baseball game and it is really funny how many people will be upset about wanting it to be a stock market simulation, while ignoring game play issues.

Just went on to check my orders and it says I'm restricted AGAIN. Now I took screenshots of a dude I went up and down with for 3 hours on a card before he dropped 200 cards in by the time I did 2 and completely screwed me out of 200k and every order was for at least a 10k loss. I sent those along with screen shots of the bots on Max Clark, Keith Foulkes the Roch Red Diamond and a few others to support and said WTF, each one went from normal back and fourth to 300 orders in seconds, its blatantly obvious, and they have yet to do anything or respond. And they are still doing it. But they restricted me for a 6th time for flipping legit, I make 300k a day, but its because I just had back surgery and can't do [censored] else. So BRAVO SDS at allowing the hackers cheaters and bots to continue raping the legit flippers and managing to ban those of us who legitimately buy and sell. Little fishy how the players who flip and make alot of stubs get banned, but the bots and cheaters don't, its almost like......SDS.....doesnt want to get rid of the bots. Why would they, then how would they dictate the market!
