Bad Manager Logic in RTTS
-
When oh when will they fix the manager logic.
ie. my character is rated 80, lowest starter on my team, but I literally just had a MVP and Cy Young year yet when my team makes the post season, I don’t get to pitch once in 12 games. That is real sound logic, especially when it’s solely based on my rating. As a dang couch coder I could fix this with a simple “if” statement, why haven’t you fixed it in the 300 years this game mode has existed?
Simple things like this are why I went from playing and spending to simply playing. Do better EA.

First, wrong forum. This should be in RTTS.
Second, were you left off the post season roster or just not used?

Sorry, first post here.
Was just not used. I was listed as pitcher 5 during the offseason.

Who's team are you on?

Ah. Most teams go to a 4 man roster in the post season. If you were the 5th man, that would explain it.

Your point is more fair than some here will let on. Yes, the way the game code works stuff is your spot in the roster in RTTS is based entirely on your overall attribute number. Your in-season performance doesn't matter.
To your point, failure to take into account seasonal performance when constructing the post season pitching roster is idiotic. But, this has been the flaw with the game's code in RTTS for many years. It's something SDS could fix if they cared to, but they don't.

Oh yeah, its SDS fault. Same prompt as always. Are you a bot btw?
