10 Hits in game June Program

Is anyone else having issues completing the 10 hits in a game during multiplayer game bc of people quitting when you’re still 1-2 hits from 10? It’s really starting to [censored] me off bc it shouldn’t be this difficult.

I was able to get it done in moonshot pretty easily. I saw someone else suggest this and its not a bad idea...let the other team get a lead in the 1st inning so they'll keep playing.

This is what I had to do. Hell, one game I gave up 5 runs by throwing pitches right down the middle but when I took a 1 run lead they quit.

I purposely kept the game close in Ranked and didn't score even when I was able to keep the other team playing until I had 10 hits. So in one inning I had three hits and kept the bases loaded without letting runners score that would have if I were playing normally. So the score was like 1-0 or 2-0 all the way until the 8th inning. Once I got to ten hits, I didn't worry about scoring anymore. It sucks that you have to do it that way, but other teams quitting is a real problem.

I was able to do it in BR in a high scoring game. Overall didn’t have enough time to get the ranked runs or finish the event this time. Fan of the time specific stuff but not a fan of it being this short of time like the 5 day events. Now what until Friday?
Just too much at once then nothing for a few days or even weeks

@General_Heaux_PSN Do you believe they're deliberately quitting to avoid you getting 10 hits, or just general rage quits?

@NotesOfJohn_PSN they are most likely quitting on purpose. You really ave to spot people 4 runs or so that they will stay.

I know people are toxic in Ranked, but deliberately nixing someone's progress is really [censored]. -
Were you around for the 4 HR with Griffey? People quit as soon as you launched 1 with him, it was one of the most infuriating missions ever.

What is wrong with people? -
Deduct a 1500 stub penalty everytime a player quits. Make slaughter rules in events and br as well. That way someone doesnt have to stay in a game long if they are getting pummeled easy solution.
Maybe make 5 game grace period in case of disconnects.

I don’t know, given how janky the servers are…I doubt most of them are on purpose. Some are, but I’ve never run into this problem myself even if I’m beating the p1ss out of someone

@Sarge1387_PSN I had a guy throw to third base when i had Josh bell on second and laid a bunt down with Lou Brock. Lou Brock was practically to the bag and he threw to 3rd base. Which left me with a FC and then he sent a friendly then quit when I didn’t accept. The game was atleast in the 7th inning. There are those type of people out there
