I'm a full time career so I don't have time for online games hardly anytime for offline games and SDS wants to start pulling this bulls**t. Been a loyal customer since the 989 studio days but if this is the way there going this will most definitely be my last year buying there product.
Plot twist: You won't. You'll just cry back complaining next year cause the season will be canceled!
Nice try but I've got bigger things to worry about then something baseball game that will most likely play exactly the same with all the bugs as this year's version.

Thats the soft 2026 gamer right there. Its not just this game - its how they feel about all games.
My 10-year old self rented hard SNES games from the corner store, and tried to complete them in one weekend. When I failed, I rented them the next weekend. No complaining - I knew it must be possible, other people did it, so I'd find a way to do it. Where's that spirit anymore?

I’m failing to see the issue here. Just like the MP program and WS rewards, you can buy the cards if you don’t get there.
And while this is time bound and mode specific, you can get Ronald by playing 3 Ranked games (I did it a little differently with some moonshot and then Ranked).
Now after Ronald? Maybe a couple wheels spins and 75K stubs which could be easily and alternately made / done playing the game the way people want (offline DQ, flipping cards, mini seasons).
I probably won’t even bother because I don’t love BR, nor do I want to play the CPU on rookie for 24 Ks. But it’s fine. I don’t have FOMO.

Legit question here. If you don't play ranked then what do you grind for and what do you play? Each ranked season is about the only thing I care about at all other than keeping up on programs. I'm genuinely just curious what reason you grind a good team for if not RS?

Nope, just minimally observant. The core of what I said is simple: there should be ways for online and offline players to earn all rewards by 'playing how they wish to' I have no more desire for you to play offline than I do to play multiplayer. I played the event long enough to get Castenallos as a Red's fan this year has been a major disappointment with releases, so it feels as though to get one of the 20 Reds released, I had no choice. In my opinion, the only thing worse than the toxicity of online play is the monotony of Showdown. That's it.

victoryphoenix_PSN your original statement says that online can’t complaining about mini seasons/conquest. You are also willingly skipping out on the multiplayer rewards. But it’s ok for them to lock cards into mini seasons/conquest that can’t be bought? There isn’t a player that can’t be bought from multiplayer other than the ranked cards

It's not about Online vs offline players
It's about they should have given offline players a way to at least finish through the medium mission through offline methods EVEN if it was harder or more of a grind. Also SDS checked in and nothing as of yet so It looks like offline players are BEEPED so SDS -- you messed up but if you do not make it right. Be prepared to lose players cause this program was a SHOT at offline players and your about to find something out.

How about trying something out of your usual comfort zone? You might actually enjoy it. I can assure you guys that don't or especially the ones who have never played online aren't likely to immediately run into full meta God squads and certainly no cheaters at the lower levels.
However, I fully understand not wanting to play BR. The mode in itself is cool (the drafting and strategy etc) but you don't run into many cupcakes.

I’ve played like 300 online games this year across events, ranked, WC and BR and have run into 0 cheaters or bots. That’s just a narrative the content creators are putting out there. The cheaters are all at high high ranks and SDS has been doing a good job getting rid of them.
The toxic players though, yes. You’ll certainly run into them in any online mode.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL I agree. Ive ran into one cheater all year. Not that prevalent. And the toxic players. Just laugh at them. Let them replay their home runs and bunt dance. And even they are few and far between and mostly just sore losers. I can deal with sore losers. Think of it as in game entertainment.

Ok so here is my issue with programs like this if I was still going no life at this game I could have this done in like 2 days. But since I’ve retuned to work I play maybe once twice a week. And between the toxicity of ppl leaving before balls land and people just making this program way harder then it has to be I won’t get it done. And a lot of ppl are in my boat id assume I work a very physically demanding job and by the time I’m off at 7:30 I just wanna eat shower and go to bed and worry about next days work. I could have finished this but when u play people who know what there doing by leaving before balls land and message you “lol” after the game it gets aggravating. End of day I’m in a better place now then I was when I was no lifing it I’m working I’m happier but just here to give the feedback that these programs are almost impossible with gaming community’s now a days. Cause they don’t care if they lose they just care that u aren’t getting what u need and there the reason.

been a while since I played and saw this new program today and yeah, forcing us to play online is b.s. they got me to try events this year and I'm ok with that but ranked??? no way. I don't even want to touch that mode.
as for ppl in this thread saying PLAY YOUR WAY, it's not been Play Your Way the last 3 years when this new management team took over. When Ramone was the face of the game it definitely was, but it hasn't been since these new guys took over.
Anyway, I use to play this game from release to next release but last 2 iterations I have not since CFB ususally comes out in early July. I'm planning to spend more time again this year with CFB next week and probably not be as dedicated to this game. Maybe I'll do the topps now weekly program (or whatever the new name of the program is now), but that's about it.
It was good timing by SDS to release this screw job of a program to offline players. we now all know where they're coming from and where this game is headed going forward.
