@dolenz_psn It’s not really a rabbit hole. The math all maths. Yes, it’s weird that different players of the same value have different drop rates, but that has been known and available for years too.

If you look at the probability of getting all of the diamonds compared to the probability of getting a non-diamond, the probability turns out to be roughly 2%, or 1 out of 50 (if I remember the math I did a month or so ago on this, it’s actually slightly under 2%, like 1.997%)

Just curious, where did those percentages in the table come from? Looking at the link below they seem to be different from what you found. Do they have different odds listed somewhere else?

That is where I pulled from. Worst case Scenario they updated the page after I started doing calculations. But I just did an alt F5 and ones like Kurtz, Trout and Crow_armstrong looked the same

Weird, not sure whats going on then. I see different percentages then those in your original post. Just using Kurtz, Trout and PCA as examples. I see Kurtz at 0.05%, Trout at 0.042% and PCA at 0.042%.

Yeah, it sounds like fuzzy math games to equal out to 1:50. I guess they are akin to car salesmen, no offense to car sales people out there.

I screwed up and am adequately embarrassed. The stupid thing brought up the 25 drop rates file and not the 26 drop rates file

I might do the analysis again later.

Ah ok, that makes sense then. Hey, mistakes happen.

Don’t sweat the mistake. It IS an interesting look to see how SDS does manipulate the odds of individual cards (not diamond pull rates). I was fascinated by it when I first looked into it a couple months ago.

When you redo your analysis, if you add up all of the percentages of diamonds, you will see that they add up to 2%. But it doesn’t mean that every diamond, even if they have the same value, has the same pull rate.

So if they make that post, then SDS is ran by only one person. But that's just a theory. A GAME TH- gets mauled by a vacuum cleaner

Mistakes happen, but my above post still stands whether 25' or 26'. Fuzzy math games I tells you.
