Around half a million players have the other three cornerstones. Only about 180,000 have O'Neil.
To be fair I havent played this inning so its not all about the moment sucking. Im sure the fact that the yankees have 1,458 other OFs doesnt help either.

O'Neill is a lefty, look for pitches down in the zone, clemens will throw a lot of splitters and sliders down there

@PAinPA_PSN The point is it's not about hitting the ball, it's getting hits. With the new MLB the Show 26 RNG the odds of NOT hitting right into an infielder, or the buggy new launch angle physics hanging your fly balls in the air where a guy in a wheel chair could run it down, and not having this happen 3 out of 4 at-bats is nearly astronomical.
I've gotten 2 hits by restart-scumming over and over, but the next two at-bats are always line-drives into mits or outfielders jogging, doing their laundry, reading fan mail, then finally raise their glove to catch that 40 degree launch angle hit where I'm 1 pixel under the ball.
Sorry but this moment is the poster child where "play OUR way or you don't get the reward" system is driving people away from this game.

Ok, I’m wondering what has SDS done behind the scenes to Moments?
EVERY home run Moment since the update last week has taken me AT LEAST ten times to finish.
I’ve been playing long enough to know…..something’s been messed with.

Not a moment, but those 8 TB with Tony Fernandez are like pulling teeth.
Weirdly, I am hitting everything with him online, yet can't get a single hit with him in mini seasons.
Literally not a one. -

Good luck getting either 3 hits with the first dude in Spotlight moments or 2XBH with PCA.
Gave up after 10+ tries with the three hit dude. Over 10+ with PCA.
Since the last player update, moments have gotten way way way harder.
Edit to add: sure enough! Post in this thread, two homers by PCA. Love it!!

I have not looked at this program yet but I have found if I just play other modes and accumulate stats and XP I will eventually come close to finishing these. Then I can simply cherry pick the moments I want.

Yeah, definitely could have done that. Trying to finish ALL the moments in a program is about as adventurous as I like to get with The Show.

Here we are, Moonshot home runs. Can’t hit with any of the guys. They have noodle bats and the pitchers don’t throw strikes. So when they do, I’m flat footed and abs hit lazy fly outs. Fingers crossed the old trick works

Yup these sucked getting done, my worst was actually Hodges took forever to get a decent strike and even then it just cleared the wall.

Every one of those moonshot moments took over ten tries for me.
I never thought I’d get one with Garrett Anderson. That took a long time.
