But they will come in on a Sunday morning at 8am and fix a pack glitch that could lose them money. Then ban anyone that got 459 bronze and silver players from their 300 packs. Which if I may add was their mistake and they banning people for it... Pathetic.

First off they never even said they would ban people. Second, it’s against TOS. Anyone who thinks that exploiting that glitch was fine is clearly mistaken.

This entire narrative is getting stupid. People need to stop listening to the low life content creators preaching this garbage.

SDS prioritizing their profits ahead of basic code integrity and customer support isn't a "garbage" point, not by any means. I know you have your burr in the saddle over this glitch exploitation, but there are other more serious issues affecting this game, and the person you went after had a legitimate point about SDS's priorities being horribly skewed.

The impact on the marketplace and everyone who wasn’t exploiting the glitch far outweighs some menu lag, records not showing up, a “possible” issue with Hader/King. I’m just so sick of the excuses of people trying to back up why they did the pack glitch.

If people stop for a second and think about it - of course SDS had to immediately patch that before it got out of control. It’s not about their bottom line. It’s about the integrity of their player base and health of the marketplace. Most people doing that garbage don’t have $ for stubs anyway.

But the community is so selfish and has so much tunnel vision that they attack SDS for everything.

It may not be a garbage point but it is an irrelevant one.

We do not get to set SDS' priorities or impact their timeline for fixing issues. But disagreeing with their decisions is a rationalization for exploiting the glitch and is not a justification.

They need to do something so that when the next inevitable glitch is found people don't point to this instance and assume that it is okay to exploit it because there will be no consequence for doing so.

Also, nobody I have seen argue for bans has ever said the the other issues should not also be acted on.

Hader and King glitches are separate issue on to itself because it hasn't affected the marketplace or mass amounts of innocent players as the miniseasons exploit has. The Hader and King glitch only affects the game that the player playing against you can hit the nuke button and enter into another game. Comparing the two is an apples to corned beef comparison.

Maybe I’m just lucky but I haven’t been experiencing the crazy menu lag a lot of people are mentioning.

PS5 and direct LAN for what it’s worth. I’ve certainly had SOME lag but not the super long load times

The OP is about menu lag taking over a full minute of lag time to implement a game function that for several years literally took a split second to perform.

I cannot fathom how anyone thinks that issue is less acute to the game's customer satisfaction than would be a glitch that was exploited by only a small number of people. And making that point clear is by no means endorsement to cheat, exploit, nor ignore the bug that caused it.

I didn't experience the glitch, but it would have pissed me off. Most likely I would have reset the miniseason and posted about another issue with the WBC miniseason. But then again I finished Live Series by actually playing the game and fuming about the numerous wbc miniseason glitches and lack of Reds cards, i'm a simple man.

Took 2 months off from the game and just game back last week. What on earth happened? This menu lag is insane! There was a little lag in the beginning but I don't remember it being this bad at all! Not sure if anyone would purchase bundles of packs, because literally would like hours to open the packs, not to mention trying to sell the card. My guess is that bot traffic is obliterating their servers.

This HAS to be their top priority to fix this.

Is this a system thing? Like is it only on Xbox or switch? Or is it an ISP thing like the T-Mobile problem people have?

Just kind of curious as I haven’t yet run into this problem

This is what I've been wondering as well. I'm also on PS5 and my menus have been fine for a while now.

Who said that? I would like to see them come in on Sundays to resolve any critical issues but it is not within my power to make that happen or change their prorities.

I understand why they came in on a Sunday to resolve the exploit. It blew up in the middle of the night between a Saturday and Sunday. Even so lots of people exploited it for several hours to earn thousands of packs. Imagine how widespread it would have become if it was left open for an additional 24 hours and more people discovered that it was possible.

Not a single person has said that they should fix that exploit instead of resolving other issues. We just don't think it should have been ignored simply because other issues may have been.

Well, they can start by making changes even if seemingly small. Have to start somewhere

Would love if they would start with the bots.

But thats not a problem for them because people have to buy stubs just to complete with the market now.

Honestly I just don't think they can keep up with the Bots.

There is proof that they have tried to reign them in based on some regular people being being caught up and restricted earlier in the year. Don't underestimate the ingenuity and drive of the stub selling sites to stay one step ahead.

The app is just as slow as the game itself.

I've gone in a few times to update my TA spreadsheet and i cannot even get Programs to load, let alone get in to TA stats.
I note the Marketplace updates lightning fast, however.

Seriously, how are we, what, three months in, and both the game and app are still both slow and unreliable? These are basic fundamentals.

I have found that turning off "cross play" in your universal profile seems to help with the lag a bit

it just took me 22 minutes to open 20 standard packs.

I scanned the other posts and didnt see this mentioned so if it’s already been said I apologize but I never open packs using the console. I prefer the app interface it’s so much faster and certainly much more market friendly.
The “opened pack history” tab in the app is especially useful if you have say a couple hundred to open you can blast thru getting them opened just as fast as you can tap the “open next pack” tab (I don’t even flip them) and then go back to the history tab and you can see what all you got and interface directly with the market from there.
