@Onix_Savage22_PSN yup - the deGrom’s sellable so they made it grindable

Strong disagree. They shouldn't be afraid to release content because someone may exploit it.

I personally never want to see a HoF showdown as I don't find HoF pitching fun. But there are people that want this type of content and this is a good compromise. And hopefully signals that offline cards will start to be sellable, which is something pretty much everyone wants.

Yeah, you cant just not release anything interesting because people might cheat. The showdown was excellent innovative content - super rare these days

This is exactly the type of content they should be releasing more of. Fun, challenging offline stuff that actually gets you something worthwhile at the end. I'll take stuff like this over "get 10 hits with any player" for a card you'll never use any day. Not saying they should get rid of those missions either, but having this as an option in addition to those is great.

I actually am happy about this because there are not many ways to make stubs. Was able to do it five or six times and get some stuff done.

There is sort of a rich get richer aspect though...people that can get this are also capable of getting to the actually rewarding ranks of WC for example. They are more likely to handle higher difficulties of DQ

The casual grind at launch was huge, but highly RNG dependent. But hitting an 87 even was valuable. Now even if you hit a 90 its not a big deal. So the casual grind has fallen behind and feels far less rewarding than at launch while DQ has ramped up a bit and now this.

Pretty easy solution is to make the ms cards also repeatable, but the top grind card should be a similar caliber, or at least overall, to this DeGrom. Garver isnt a big name so what would have been the harm in that card being a higher overall?

I would have no problem at all with them making that stuff sellable to. If it were up to me I think I would make just about everything sellable. And sure there is some truth to the rich get richer aspect, but it's not across the board. I'm not good enough online to get to the higher ranks of WC. I'm decent at All-Star, but once it hits HOF online I struggle. But I can beat this Showdown like 50% of the time so its been a very welcome addition for me.

It’s repeatable cause you can trade his card in for a sellable card over and over and over again

The sale price now for Degrom isn't high enough to make it crazy valuable (DQ may be just as good now) - but its still pretty good

How are people going to be able to just set there controller down and sleep while the program plays the game?

Can the program enter the Showdown? Can the program select the option to start the Showdown? Can the program draft and set your lineup and perks for you?

Are the answers to the above questions yes? Which means the program can do EVERYTHING for you. Or is OP batching and whining again? Thought they were deleting the game? Or was that said just to get attention.

Trust me, I’ve seen enough to know that yes… all of that is possible. If they can track a ball to calculate the perfect swing, they can certainly navigate menus.
