@Dolenz_PSN exactly if I knew we were gonna get a free no sell one I lose out on 800k when I pulled my first one and locked him in I sold my second one.

Honestly at this point I think they have 2 things they could do, nothing which will probably happen. Or bans which seems like it’s too much work for them. Although any work seems like it’s too much for them this year lol.
Every year maybe besides this year there’s been a RTTS glitch that resulted in way more stubs. I don’t think anything happened with that ever. I think they should’ve done a server rollback but it’s too late for that and that would’ve made everyone mad as well. I highly doubt there will be anything for those of us who didn’t use the glitch. They’ve always been the worst at compensation lol.
-
I agree with @dolenz_psn and @ref479ode_psn
The only thing that works is to ban the most “egregious” exploiters. (I’ll let SDS determine “egregious” as they surely have the data)
I’ll differ with @ref479ode_psn that the ban should be for the entire year of mlb the show 26.
SDS should be extremely public about it (after it’s done) on all known social media platforms they frequent. A stern warning should also follow about future “exploits”.
After that, some sort of “make right” for the rest of us is in order. But only after MANY bans.
SDS needs to start working on player retention for MLB the show 27. The sooner they start, the better. This version of 26 is all about 27 at this point. Try and get the “bad taste” out of our mouths over this years game.

To be honest, I don't even know what they can do to make this right.
I agree with what @dolenz_psn said earlier, whatever they do will either be too much or not enough. There is nothing they can do to make the whole community happy after this.
After thinking about this conundrum for a bit, I would be happy if they wiped clean everyone's account who partook in the glitch as if it was a brand spanking new game that they just bought and had a flash sale that saw only the gatekeepers for LS collection be discounted by 50% for a period of time. I think this could be a good compromise. You punish the offenders, the gatekeepers aren't free but cheap enough so majority of players can nab but they the have short period of time to do it which will keep the outcry of the players who paid for them to a minimum.

This is just the same level of speculation as everyone else, just with some faux-legalese added.

I could care less about people benefiting from the packs glitch. The real issue are the cheats in online games, bots and other issues that havent been addressed since day 1. Almost every year since the inception of Diamond Dynasty there has been a glitch one way or the other that effects market which always straightens its self out within days each time it occurs.
-
They are not going to do [censored]. No one should be surprised. Hats off to the pack glitchers at this point. You guys win. We lose. You were right we were wrong. Is what it is.
-
@samguenther1987_PSN what will this do for those who have collections already locked in?
As I said to the other person who asked this.
I'm not sure what the answer should be honestly, I was just saying what I would like to see.... it will never happen anyway
-
@Ditka06-_MLBTS I wouldn’t say they where right, but reason I don’t think sds will do anything is it is hard to take legal action over there mistake. the longer I sit and let this set in my head more I realize this tho that nothing will happen what happened happened. It’s life bad people get away with sketchy/bad things all the time it’s just how life is just gotta learn to accept it and try and be better ig.

I could careless about people benefiting from the packs glitch.
You could care less, or couldn't care less?
-
@samguenther1987_PSN So you're fine with players receiving cards that they didn't do anything to earn as long as you are one of those players? Do you really care about cheating, or are you just upset that you didn't personally benefit from it?

Neither, I just want SDS to be held accountable for once, i'm as far from a cheater as you can get btw, i'm a no money spent player that plays offline. The problem i have is that SDS doesn't take anything seriously unless it effects their bottom line. It won't happen anyway, we have seen their answer and it's to do nothing.

I said this in another post, and I’m starting to believe nothing is going to happen, but the easiest and cleanest way for SDS to fix this is to “charge” each account that exploited the glitch an estimated amount of stubs based on how many they gained from the exploit. So if you benefitted and netted 1 million stubs, then your account get a charge of 1 million stubs. If that puts you negative, then you can work off the balance or sell off the cards you parked to pay off that balance.
I think it fixes the market and brings high value cards back down to where they should be, the exploiters lose the benefits they gained, if they locked in cards for collections they can still play but anything they make going forward pays off the balance and prevents them from a competitive advantage for future collections.

I still think a ban is appropriate, but the ban could be shorter combined with this
If they can find a way to flag all accounts as exploited or not, it would be pretty cool to give all the non exploited accounts a high end apology card thats exclusive to non exploiters
-
It should be easy to identify the exploiters. The evidence is all in the game logs and it happened on 5/31.
Simply query the game logs and find users who played multiple, say 20 or more, 0-0 games against the CPU. I can't think of any legitimate reasons for that many quits.
I think estimating how much they made from it though is a extreme reach. Too hard to nail down a number. Bhow many were quick sold? Sold on the market? Kept and collected for a collection reward?

They can look at account data and see daily how many stubs you’ve earned, it shouldn’t be hard to create a database very quickly.
