@DivineFury75_PSN yes u are misunderstanding i think they should be banned but I also think people using a device to hit for them should also be banned im just saying its a slap in the face that they only act when there money is involved.

This is much easier to detect than the online cheating, simple review of logs can show who severely exploited the glitch.
That said, I wouldn’t hold my breath on any bans or consequences.

@DivineFury75_PSN since 22 it’s been a pretty steep decline and 22 I was mostly just riding the high of 21 but 23/24/25 and now 26 have all been getting worse and worse every year like I try to be positive Ik people work on these games for a living but I’m having a very hard time seeing the light in this situation anymore.

@rubicante23_PSN No, it's not. That comes from more games of RTTS being played every year than DD, which of course there are. 3 at bats takes a little less time than 9 innings. There MIGHT be slightly more people that play RTTS than DD, but there is no real indication of that. DD IS the game.

In the past SDS said RTTS was the most played version. But it may have been close to a decade now since they have told us that type of info.
It is entirely possible that DD has surpassed it but don't underestimate the number of people who still prefer that mode

I do not like that this was exploited BUT how was it even in the game you should blame SDS and it's real bad programming and this exploit NEVER should have been in the game if they knew what they were doing. This whole year the game has had so many issues OUTSIDE of just playing baseball it's not even funny.
The top 50 to 100 exploiters should get there account not banned but WIPED to day 1 like it was on opening night sans the packs from pre-order. If they want to re-grind then cool but if they just leave then good too.

Sorry fellas but I don’t agree the glitches should be banned. I’m a grinder of the show. I grind mini seasons, diamond quest, conquest, events, try hard to finish the innings program, so I’m like all you guys in struggling to get stubs. I do pay to get additional stubs, I am a NMS player. With that being said, had I non about this glitch, oh you best be believing I would’ve been doing it. It’s not cheating, it’s a massive mistake on SDS’s part. They F’d up and the few caught on to it and won. SDS should do a solid and give the community some freebee but to ban these guys….nah. This ain’t like the cheaters using a program to grind for them or have bots to automatically outbid us or [censored] like that. It’s a massive mistake on SDS, point blank. Those who were able to do it, I’m a jealous b@st@rd!!!!! Happy gaming guys

I finished the live series by playing the game, not exploiting a bug, so I think it's extraordinarily lame to penalize those of us who didn't exploit a glitch by just looking the other way and forcing SDS's hand to take away the number one repeatable way to earn packs. It's just another form of cheating. I am an NMS player, but followed the rules, but now I can't just earn 11 regular packs and one ballin in just 90 minutes of game time.

@TripleH-4481_PSN I still think there is only one year on consoles left. They have to do the final year for the Negro Leagues deal, but I think '27 will be it. The mobile game costs them less and will likely earn them more, combined with the recent Sony push for exclusivity for first party titles (which will decimate their customer base) and the all-but-guaranteed looming lock-out/strike, I think they will be done after one more. That's my guess as to why they often don't seem to overly care how things are going because in the long run, it won't matter. I'd love to be wrong, but I'm afraid I'm not.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL we have had a lot of conversations I respect u and know ur in here a lot but bans and sds in the same post ur funny. We are on over a month of the cheating pandemic and have we heard of any mass bans for that?
To be fair, this might be easier to detect than cheaters.
That said, I would still be greatly surprised to see any bans happening.
It is not. They can see the cheating devices through the API (at least you should be able to). They know [censored] well who is using them. My guess is cost of resources to check and the sheer number of people using them. Apex is a FAR bigger company and from what I can tell just started cracking down on these recently. COD tried and gave up quickly. PS5 could only remove the devices for a very short time before there was a workaround. Therefore, you have to constantly monitor the API's in order to catch the people doing them. That takes massive resources that SDS will not employ. That is my opinion of course.

Forgive me for being cynical at this moment, but this affects SDS money while cheating at ranked doesn't. Bans or full account resets are very possible
Well people get rewards for ranked that they wouldn't have got (world series rewards, 20 pack for 900, don't you get stubs for 1000 or just gold card). It is especially bad for weekend classic but someone is getting those rewards. Just not most of the legit players.
