But then they would have no reason to not make them Team Affinity. Nor would they be able to put like half the cards in packs.

I think this could possibly be the best drop of the year, dependant on collection rewards. Even so I think it's cool that Gehrig isn't locked behind a pack or is a final collection reward. That by itself IMO is a win.

2 cards I want from packs (maybe 1.5 as I can live without O'Neill)
0 cards I want that you can actually earn by playing.I've said it before I don't like grinding for stubs. I would like earning stubs to be something that is done naturally as I grind for actual cards that I want.
Almost nothing is sellable that I earn through offline play and programs so even when i do play I am not earning many stubs.

Which doesn't make much sense.
There are 13 clubs not getting a card this drop so far. There are 3 that have not gotten a drop in Cityscapes, Mural or (so far) this Vintage Program.

@Teak2112_MLBTS Should be a White Sox card if any... makes zero sense to be a Red Sox.. literally all these player cards are their old teams

Truth. Especially, McMahon. That's one reason why although I'm not a Yankee fan, I'm glad he came here. Some of these cards have done so well for me that i've become fans of theirs, not so much the team their on!
Even Conforto's TA card from i think, 2000 raked for me. -

PSA for people who want to grind efficiently - start by playing the Event a lot. Because that thing is only active for like 15 seconds...use it to rack up the multi path rewards
