Honestly guys, i dont think good and bad swings just exist like that in my opinion now disclaimer, I ain't going against your opinions im just expressing my opinion. The reasons are that the strides are mostly the same like when the batter prepares for the pitch to come, they have the same exact stride. Imo, its really just the attributes and the height of the player that makes the swing of the player good.

I think they have become closer to one another but I still think some are superior to others. Some of the absolutely unusable ones aren’t as bad as before but I would still bet nearly every player who checks average and slugging with ROTY Kris Bryant and ROTY Miggy would have better numbers with Bryant on a “lower attribute” card.

The gold Australian catcher from the WBC (Perkins I think) did almost nothing but hit homeruns for me.

Go into practice mode and use a notoriously bad swing like mark mcgwire and then a notoriously good swing like Ozzie albies or trout that have a notable leg kick.

Swings are very different, both of them have extreme pull tendency as well. Mark mcgwire is always late on everything.

I would say swings matter more then attributes.

You could give me a 99 mcgwire with 125 max everything and is rather run that wbc Ozzie albies 89 or 92 or whatever it is

I would also say albies and seager seem to lift all inside pitches and get tons of off pci homers
