I haven’t been in the forums this long and I’m just wondering, has there ever been a point where the community has been this fed up and outraged by a mlb the show game or product. Cause personally me somebody who can play this game a lot and lives for baseball and mlb has even been pushed away I played 2 games this morning wasn’t having it at all and got right back on another game. And from reading these forums I’ve heard and seen other peoples frustration as well I’m just wondering has there been a point where the community has been this upset with a product and lack of adjustments to fix it. If so what was done to resolve it because it just feels like between the cheating the servers and everything inbetween this game is in serious trouble of losing a good chunk of the fan base. Like they even put out a survey but for what? Like rly multiplayer wheel feels like the only thing done positive this year but besides that what have we rly gotten this year?

@Onix_Savage22_PSN I think this year is the worst by far, with people disappointed in the state of the game.
I want to bring back up the pack odds topic. Because I looked into this even further and did more research. The wheel spin for example turns out are pre determined odds. Its not random the wheel knows what's if giving you before you start the countdown. Right. So that brings me to my next point. I believe 100 percent packs work the exact same way. Pre determined odds. The packs pre determine what you get before you even open them.
My point being with this.. this game has never been more predatory

Ik me personally I’ve never even thought about giving up on this game before atleast late October early November. This year bring in late may is crazy.

@Alaric919_PSN they had to of changed management or something, the game was always a little predatory. But over the last few years its taken on a new life. Something drastically changed we know this. And that change has to be new leadership is the only thing that makes sense. And they suck! This is why people dont like corporations. They only care about one thing. Profits.

@whitejw98_MLBTS I completely disagree with you. Its way worse now. All you have to do is go to the Google reviews to see the difference of ratings the last two years compared to previous years. Ok dude we know you are a company man based on your comments. You are incorrect. You are a corporate man. Probably work for Target if i had to guess.

@OlSkoolE63_MLBTS lol yeah thats not random odds brother. The odds of pulling the same card out of a chase pack three times in a row is not much less than pulling ohtani. Everyone wants to argue this. Im a financial analyst. With a good education. I know what im looking at. Same scenarios happen to me also with packs. I may come off rude, and my bed side manner is not the greatest. I study these things. This is what i do. Im also a mortgage banker. I know odds, percentages, and numbers.

Sayings things like “I looked into it further” while doing literally nothing but making things up after yesterdays “research” was actually the result of just being a wittle angwy after a tough woss…Which was one day after “Not needing evidence”

Its pretty negative right now, and I get it. For me, its a stale repetitive experience - plus market bots plus terrible online experience.
I think SDS has made more concessions this year than others - strike zone, mp wheel, lots of grindable packs....but theyre doing it because they know a lot of fans are getting cranky.

I think 2019 (Immortals) was pretty bad, the gameplay was pretty good at that time but the amount of collectibles needed for upgrades and the long [censored] grind made a lot of people upset. I didn’t mind the grind, though Buddy Bell will forever give me PTSD, it was more the collectibles that caused a lot of consternation. I believe that was the beginning of the monetization aspect and it’s gotten worse since then.

Judge is almost up to 600K and Ohtani 800K. I’ve gotten so many duplicate low diamonds it’s ridiculous. The fact my only live series high diamond is still skenes and that was over 2 months ago is insane. In that time I’ve opened thousands of packs earned in game with very little to show for it. Either I’m super unlucky or packs are an absolute joke.

@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS yeah I agree with that. I try to stick to the bigger issues and not complain about every little thing. The predatory nature of the packs is a big deal to me. And should be to alot of the players. Which is why im trying to educate people on here! So they know how it is. They need to make it completely random. Not have the game pre determine what's in the packs before they even get opened. That is the fairest way to do it. Keep the same odds. Leave it completely random based on those odds. The system or the game or their pre determined algorithm should not know what's in those packs before they get opened. That goes for the wheel at the end as well.

We know that’s not true because you can have a deluxe pack today, wait for the next mural type program to drop and still get a pack for the new program from an old deluxe pack that originally didn’t even have those types of cards in them. So no, we know for a fact they are not predetermined.

@GoozeFn_PSN the wheel is pre determined you admitted that on here. Yes they can, easy for the system to update the packs for a new program. So if they do it with the wheel why is it such a shocker to you that they do it with the packs? Ill bet you a $1,000 dollars all the packs are pre determined. Sds will never admit it. But one day if im wrong ill pay you. They want you to think its completely random. How they make their money.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL the reward u get is decided before the animation even happens the animation of the wheels are purely just for show. There’s been times I’ve gotten the reward before the animation.
