How are you doing with the XP Reward Path?
-
After all the justified criticism of the lack of XP in Innings two, how are we all doing this innings?
They reduced the amount needed for the boss, although the lack of XP (due to a lack of consistent content) is still a real issue.
So, where are we all at?
-
211K and completed almost all offline content. Even dropping to 400K the XP available is still very insufficient.
That’s obvious by the price of the bosses remaining high. I’ve said before I think it’s by design as they know we all have to buy 1 of the 2 bosses and by limiting the amount of people reaching the end of the path you have to buy both.
Ultimately it’s simply another way to monetize the game. All about the money fir Sony/SDS at this point.

Just had my 2nd go of the wheel, got a chase pack.... Kyle Tucker

@TripleH-4481_PSN Yep, spot on.
I've found it easier to progress this innings, but it's still significantly harder than last year and I fear many will again miss out. -
176,672. About 44%. Corbin is in sight! I might make it to the boss pack.
Maybe. -
I couldn’t play for the past week and I’m over 50%. I’ll be fine. Just like the last two XP paths.
-
I’m halfway. I’m to point now that I just don’t care. I may pop on and complete programs the rest of the year, but I’m done caring about this game. Bungie ran Destiny into the ground, and now SDS is running MLB into the ground. It’s obvious they are monetizing this game more and more and seemingly just care about the launch of the mobile game. I’ve downloaded Forza 6 and the LEGO Batman game, and will shift focus towards those and Black Flag when it comes out. Also time to address more of the games in my backlog on XBox and Switch. MLB has become a timesink that’s just not worth it.
-
Don’t care anymore, hardly play. Once a week something to do that takes maybe a couple hours. I’m very close to done for good.
-
No chance I'll complete it. I've given up on the probability of getting LS or the XP path done. They've absolutely killed this game for anyone casual it seems. I still enjoy playing, but I'm disappointed in the way they've handled content.
-
I’m at 150k. Admittedly, not playing as much as I usually do. Nowhere close to finishing….
(Sarcasm mode on…)
“I’m excited though, I’ll get 3 standard show packs, a headliner pack and 1k stubs just before I get Corbin burnes”
(sarcasm mode off) -
This inning has been easy to complete. If you aren’t completely it, it’s probably your fault.
-
373/400 so chugging right along
-
270k, haven't done mural MS yet.
XP per game is still terrible but inning is definitely progressing faster. -
I finished it yesterday, sold lindor for 140k. Will buy him and soto back next week once their prices lower more. This inning seemed very easy to complete just completing the online program and doing the other xp programs
-
I just dont understand people complaining about how hard it is to get the boss. Just play the game and you'll get it. Complaining about the inning path rewards makes sense - theyre all pretty terrible.
But, there's a DQ, conquest, and mini season that all give you a ton of stubs and rewards....what more fo you want?
You guys do realize - the more and better rewards you get, the more prices for cards go up....more stubs in circulation equals inflation
-
I'm at 360k. Should have the boss soon. It's definitely been much easier this inning.
-
I'm about halfway. This Friday's content drop is garbage. Am I crazy, weren't the Spotlight programs dropped during the week and then Fridays would be a different program in past releases?

They want to play the game modes they want not conquest and mini seasons I dunno how many times you need to ask the same question.
Also DQ is probably the worst XP farm in the game.
Your third point was in left field like a switch hitting shortstop on a nerds trying to go pro team. The more stubs the prices more up go bigly though, you nailed it
-
That’s the main issue. They are forcing online play for offline players by nuking xp. It’s a scummy move but this year nothing shocks me.
-
I finished yesterday with all the missions they added, I feel it was better this time.
