MLB Service Time
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they list the MLB service time on the player's card?
You would open the card and then go to the bio screen and it would be listed on the bottom.
It's not there. Either it has been removed for some reason ... or I'm getting old-timers.

No. I'm pretty sure I remember that too at one time. Not sure when it left.
There's been lots of little things like that that they've had that weren't really utilized so they've gone away I think -
I believe that service time has been replaced by 'prospect ranking'.
This is very annoying. I couldn't care less what a player's prospect ranking is but, thanks to the new contract extension 'rules', players have to be arbitration eligible to sign them to an extension, which makes the service time very important when making trades.

@stinkymcpooter_xbl In franchise press up and you’ll get the service time.

You are correct ... but it doesn't work for roster control.
If you like to mess with rosters (like I do), it's still bothersome. Several extra steps to find this stuff out.
