Stealing Bases So Easily is Horribly Unrealistic
-
Not that this hasn’t been mentioned, but I want to bring up again how stealing bases so easily in this game is so horribly unrealistic. Even players like Teoscar Hernandez steal with a good success rate when you pick the right pitches to go one (for example, avoiding going when the pitcher uses a slide step). Almost no one ever gets thrown out, and catchers take five years to get rid of the ball. I do hope this gets fixed at some point.

It’s work around for the ridiculous amount of double plays. Without it almost every ground ball turns into 2 outs.

Yep there are some animation issues with things like this that are just take too long to complete. Catcher animations with throwing out runners, IF cut off animations is another.
Have to lower basestealing ability to help counter it

@TripleH-4481_PSN yeah some of the double play animations are kind of wild
-
@easedel_mlbts This works if you don’t also play DD and don’t mind losing Gameplay XP for messing with the sliders.

For years I have notoriously stunk at stealing to the point of mostly playing station-to-station ball.
And now that I'm playing like Rickey Henderson and Ricky Bobby lovechild - SPEED KILLS - your telling me I'm not actually great at stealing?
Oh the humanity!! -
Diamond fielding mod Rick Ferrell, you are welcome

@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN if you won't actually get wild 72 out a shortstop or second baseman and put in a picture at their position, have a picture or catcher play shortstop or second base and then also turn the sliders up for infield errors. Usually everyone keeps it at the middle part. Turn those sliders all to the far right. Then try making a few double plays, especially with the accuracy throw-in system, the one with the green and red. Then that gets very fun and very different with animations
