Starting Franchise: Injured Players in AAA

Does anyone know how to have MLB players on the actual MLB Roster when you start a Franchise? When I use the Live Roster to start a Franchise, the CPU's keep some of their top players (who are injured in real life) still in AAA.

I've always had to manually edit each roster before beginning but wondering if anyone has a workaround?

I've mentioned this before in another thread. Here's what you do:

Load the live rosters in the main menu. Immediately go to creation>roster control.

Go to all the teams you wish and add the players to the 40 man roster (and make any other changes to the 40 man roster and what have you).

Save the custom roster and then start your franchise from that.

EDIT: I missed the part where you said you do exactly what I posted. No, there is no other workaround.
