Spotlight program as expected BUT ....

NOT THE POINT ....
The point is what they tell the players about how to play the game does not match the actions and if you cannot get that then whatever your just as clueless as the suite up top who is messing over the offline players.
Ok, you do you, just keep complaining and playing the victim instead of taking a couple hours to play the game and actually getting what you want.
-
im glad that your a pvp God. those of us peons that deal with lag on giganet connections and input lag from tvs just get the finger. some of us are lucky to score one run, which means 25 games. then if you do actually have a good game, dude quits and your left with zilch for the effort. thus lose lose for offlineplayers
I'm not even close to a pvp God. I'm an average player at best and it was still pretty easy.
This!

I am not playing victim -- I am pointing out the change from last year to this year and how it's not right considering how they market the game to online and offline users. Like I said the message does not match the actions of the company -- period.
How do you not get this -- I do get your point sure maybe it's NOT hard but why push us ( offline players ) into this when in the past they have not done this and kind of said they would not do this. Do you see my point or are you so blind to defend SDS that you have to say I am playing the victim card that I am NOT playing.
-
@blitz77tw_PSN I get what you are saying, and I agree with you. They aren’t getting anything correct. But have time to launch another revenue stream congruent with this mess.
-
@blitz77tw_PSN Nothing I have said has been defending SDS at all. If you don't want to play certain modes that is totally understandable, but then you just might not get every card. It's really not that big of a deal. I know there will always be cards I won't be able to get and that's fine, there are so many free and easy to obtain cards that are very good.
-
I am done -- you still miss the point Pergo
Last year we could earn the packs in the lightning program path and we could earn them through OFFLINE play and this year it's through online play in the event. This is not about the cards at all it's the fact it also gave us a way to earn stubs too by selling those rewards IF we did not need them so they also took away a stub making method too.
We agree to disagree -- no hard feeling even if I can come off like a BEEP at times just my passion even if it needs to be reigned in at times -- LOL

All SDS had to do was put in a repeatable 5k PXP for 5 stars mission in that “April Showcase Event” and everyone would be happy.
I mean, it’s just “low hanging fruit” as the saying goes.

Not giving chipper a lf secondary is criminal. After giving us a 99 miggy like common sds thinking at its finest also Elly only having 73 speed like what?

Chipper not having secondary isn't too surprising since its based on 2005 and he only played 3B that year. I was really surprised by the 73 Elly speed until I checked his sprint speed data on Statcast (which I think is what they use to calculate speed ratings). I was shocked to see he is 128th in the league. It definitely ruins my plan of using him in CF.
-
@Pergo_MLBTS yeah me as well I may try him In left still and speed mod.

Elly is tied for 121st this year on statcasts sprint speed list, which I believe SDS uses for the speed attribute
Elly and those who are tied on Statcast
Elly (lightning) - 75
Elly (Live) - 89
Ezequiel Tovar - 43
Will Benson - 68
Isaac Collins - 55
Bryan Reynolds - 56
Evan Carter - 77
Alex call - 48
Jake Myers - 62Elly was 56th last year and Evan Carter was 57th which is why their live cards are higher than the others.
75 actually seems generous since this Elly card is for April 2026 and is not retroactive to his earlier seasons.
-
@Dolenz_PSN yeah I forgot to take that into consideration. I just saw Elly and expected 90+ speed.
-
Do u guys think prices go down on these cards or stay fairly high as there’s not many ways to obtain them?
-
@Dolenz_PSN he has lower speed than Langliers Spotlight. Maybe they should rethink how they do speed in this game.
-
You're right. This forced online [censored] pissed me off to the point where ive Uninstalled.
Dont let these people who are telling you to man up or just play the game or quit whinning or whatever let them tell you otherwise. This is indeed [censored] by basically forcing multiplayer. 80 percent od the cards needed for these collections are all online. Hell, even some pxp is online restricted for the timeline. [censored] that. Im out

Nobody knows. Its likely at some point they put out more spotlight card only packs (thank you collection one for giving me Matt Olson and not a week 1-4 dupe) that will crater the prices, but I assume that wont be until at least the end of inning 3
-
@Cheezy-Taters_XBL lol the same dude that tells everyone to “man up” has literal meltdowns on here daily. He even had a passionate speech about how it just really gets to him emotionally when people are better than him at things. It was one of the most pathetic things ever posted on here. Do everything possible but listen to that guy

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Chipper’s defensive prowess live in many stadium games.
We used to chant “Hit it to Chipper” as a joke and as soon as they would he’d make an error.
You don’t want him in secondary positions, they were being polite with any defense they gave him at 3rd
So a secondary would be asking a lot

Take that up with statcast.
Sprint Speed is Statcast’s foot speed metric, defined as “feet per second in a player’s fastest one-second window” on individual plays. For a player’s seasonal average, the following two types of plays currently qualify for inclusion in Sprint Speed. The best of these runs, approximately two-thirds, are averaged for a player’s seasonal average.
- Runs of two bases or more on non-homers, excluding being a runner on second base when an extra base hit happens
- Home to first on “topped” or “weakly hit” balls.
The Major League average on a "competitive" play is 27 ft/sec, and the competitive range is roughly from 23 ft/sec (poor) to 30 ft/sec (elite). A Bolt is any run at or above 30 ft/sec. A player must have at least 10 competitive runs to qualify for this leaderboard.
Shea Langeliers - 57th place with 28.5 feet per second on 44 competitive runs
Elly De La Cruz - 128th place with 27.8 feet per second on 49 competitive runs -
@Dolenz_PSN Which is why I said they should rethink how they rate speed.
