I won't be able to complete 2nd inning in time
-
@m_caraballo24_PSN I wholeheartedly agree. I don't even know how I was able to complete the first inning, but it was just barely. I didn't even get to do a random reward spin, lol.
-
@go4stros25_PSN Sorry mate, but yeah. Only way to get 500,000 xp is pretty much having no outside life. Hurts your fee fees or not, it's pretty much spot on the truth.
-
@go4stros25_PSN Online mode is unplayable, and full of cheaters. The smart users have all moved offline only. In fact, smart users won't buy this game yearly and just opt out of using Diamond Dynasty altogether, and play the none-live service elements to this game. I play to keep MLB the Show for 3-5 years and just play regular season modes, or couch co-op with people at home.
-
...as an offline, NMS player with a job, it just isn't fair.
295,000 out of 500,000 xp. How am I supposed to come up with 200,000 xp in 3 days.
I'm right there with you. Can't justify the time it takes.
-
It's totally lack of content for offline players. I do not play online. I play every day. I've completed every program, mini seasons, showdown, conquest map, 2 diamond quests, and countless play vs CPU games and for the time in years I did not complete an XP program.....not only did I not complete it, I was well short. I can't imagine how short the casual gamer was. This a big kick in the nads by SDS.

Yep I’m in the same boat. I’ve slowly just learned to log in, complete what released and then step away. Being able to complete the XP path and acquire every card is officially a thing of the past. They realized they could make more money by making people buy the xp reward path bosses and tanking the odds on packs to beyond awful.
I’m going to play on and off this year since I’ve already bought the game and then I’m done for good. The game is now for online players only or people that want to live on the game non stop and/or buy a ton of stubs. Hoping enough people walk away that it craters the franchise and somebody else picks up the mlb license and runs with it. The sooner microtransactions go away for good and it’s seen for what it really is, gambling geared towards kids, the better.

Yup....I'm now casually playing and spending more time on Starfield. In thier grand greedy plan theu drove away a lot of people.

Hope the short term profits were worth it.

It's funny, I'm re-installing starfield, myself! MLBTS is just soulless this year. Don't think I'm buying next year unless there are major changes. I've been playing since 16 but the spark that made this game special is gone

Installing Starfield because The Show is soulless and a far cry from what it used to be...
There is some irony there
