Is anyone else having trouble with stealing?

What’s the point of slide step/pitchout if players with only 80 speed are easily stealing bags? It’s not like my catchers pop time or arm strength is bad. Also it feels like I can’t steal at all. Anytime I try with pca or tatis I’m thrown out. Is there something I’m missing

Well what catcher are you using? If it's not 90 pop time with 90 arm good luck 90% of the time. Also the runners steal rating comes into play on what kinda jump they get

Just broken. Been broken since they let you step off and throw over for like 45 minutes straight.
I wonder how the “I throw over to first every time you take a lead because the game allows me to so I’ll do that for as long as I need because everyone should have the exact same lead in baseball” are doing now. Maybe we shoulda just fixed base running. Now you give up 10 steals a game lmfao.

The only way to catch steals on afast runner is by pitch out.
