As I understand it. You should not need today's Events reward to get the lightning. Sure maybe the extra card and pack would help but I don't think that they are required

The collection still shows a 5 card collection, but it does only list 4 cards, so not sure exactly the plan. Best guess would be they release another Spotlight on the 5th that’s part of the collection?!?!?!

They said drop 5 is also on Tuesday so I assume there is another card to be earned the normal way

@frankieciv608_PSN is it really that hard for you to play just a couple of online games? I get that you’re an offline player but seems kinda crazy people can’t play just a little bit online to get these players

@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS there are a lot of players who have T Mobile and can’t play h2h online. This pure online stuff is a pita for them. I used to be one myself, so I empathize.

The event card will not be required for the monthly lightning, come Tuesday when the April program releases the event card becomes card #6
Only 5 will be needed for the lightning.
They were quite clear on this during the stream
The 5 program cards is all you will need, the event is just a bonus. -
I agree 100%
As an older player, I play strictly offline. I can accept that I won't have access to the best cards.
But it seems this year, offline players are being slighted in regards to content/xp.
Hoping for better balance going forward in the 3rd inning program. -
Events is fantastic, though - its the best part of the game this year, and people should be massively incentivized to play it.

There is nothing that is less of an incentive to play a mode that I don't enjoy then locking things behind a 30k pxp in one week grind.

Yeah, I'm not paying 20 to 30 dollars extra a month for one video game to be trolled and to have to deal with toxicity online. Yeah, no thanks. Not to mention, the servers are terrible, and the lag would drive me insane, and I have great internet. The servers just stink. I learned my lesson back in '23 with my nephew. In multiplayer, co-op, it was awful.

@NotesOfJohn_PSN thank you it mostly cause this is the only game I play and dont want to pay for the network access. So play everything else like mini seasons and conquest. Just multi olayer events for me are not worth paying for at all
