You guys going to fix the App?
-
Market is still down as of 7 am eastern - yikes. At least the App and the Website are.
Maybe this is a drastic move by SDS to take the 20 card limit down to 0. Doesn't seem like a prudent business move 🤪
-
I can’t help but think they’re reworking their market to put in safeguards against all this mischief folks have been reporting. Makes perfect sense and a lot of these posts that say the app isn’t working are incorrect. I’m still playing last years game and it’s the same app and it never went down for even a nanosecond during all this.
-
Maybe they are actually fixing some of the bot [censored]? Wishful thinking?
-
@soggy-hampter_PSN oh my if only they could shut the game down for a day and figure out all the mischief in online play I’d much rather take that.
-
Yet somehow the cards I listed were being sold almost immediately after being listed
-
All they have to do is communicate with us, and they can't. It's gotten so friggen' bad.
-
Market is still down for "updates", app says.
-
@soggy-hampter_PSN Could easily fix the market by implementing cool down features, like only being able to place 1 bid per minute or something.
-
@rageincage007_XBL You can still access the market on you active bids and sells.
-
@SiberiaTigerCub_PSN I'm sorry, but I think that's a terrible idea. There's already a 20 buy limit. As a no money spent player, it would really throw a wrench into my stub making on the market.
-
I say that cooldown should apply on the app only. No cooldown on console.
-
@LadySwampfox_XBL also, the current state of bots on the marketplace means you aren't making profit ahead of the bots anyway. Cooldown will only remove the bots, and legit bidders won't be affected. 1 bid per minute per card is what I meant too.
-
@SiberiaTigerCub_PSN I've got quick fingers on the app and I just think that a one minute cooldown would affect legitimate market flippers across the board. I think whatever gets done, it needs to target bots specifically, without affecting human users.
-
The other option is to get rid of marketplace app and website outright. That's the option many in this community are starting to come around to. Madden did this. Make the marketplace only on the console would be only sure fire way to beat the bots.
-
I'm honestly fine with getting rid of the website. I haven't used it in years. Last time I did, I ran into "click all the pictures with fire hydrants" checks every other purchase. I guess it didn't like that I used Safari as my browser?
-
@soggy-hampter_PSN oh my if only they could shut the game down for a day and figure out all the mischief in online play I’d much rather take that.
Seconded!
I cannot help but cling this teeny thread of hope that the complete and utter lack of acknowledgment and communication from SDS has been due to an all hands focus on rooting this out whilst not wanting to tip their collective hands to the previously mentioned makers of mischief so they could catch as many as possible and dole out some of those 3yr bans.
It’s one thing for us all to lament on here about things we wish they’d improve but when you have rampant and unbridled theft from your bottom line…that’s a whole different ball of wax…that’s how you pay your workers and keep the lights on and that’s worth tearing it down to the studs and reworking and I’m curious to see how it comes out and I’m not a bit ashamed to say that I’m pulling for SDS to win big on this one becuase it’s us who lose if they don’t….just my opinion.
-
@LadySwampfox_XBL The app makes you sign in over and over again too.
-
@pbake12_PSN it’s too bad @cbrev29 sold out. He clearly does nothing of value at SDS. He zooms into one of the streams and that’s it.
They can’t even tweet out headliners when they drop lol. LBrev
-
@SiberiaTigerCub_PSN I don't mind signing back into the app nearly as much as the safeguards on browser. It's a lot less clunky on the app
-
@soggy-hampter_PSN and i applaud them for it....but just say something.
