I understand the how…Now I’m trying to understand the why?

This is a video game & people aren’t just cheating by doing something here & there. They’re flat out loading into a game and then just laying their controller down & letting the programs do the playing for them…Ok but why? What are they getting out of it? Sure you get the WS rewards but you’re not earning the wins? Hell, You’re not even playing the game! 🤣…Like why would you load into game after game and not even play? It’s a video game that you’re not even playing. Just sitting there watching a program play. I don’t get it. I don’t get alot anymore though. People are just weird.

Yeah I just played the most obvious cheater messaged him after the game and said just unplug it bro he responds with lol u mad? I was up 3-1 seventh inning rolls around and here we go the classic 1:30 pause I should have just backed out then. 4 run inning ok it’s 5-3 I can win this 2 solo shots next 2 innings I could tell he was using smt tho cause he would have swings he’s a hour early on and then he would just bunt dance then boom home run. It’s like he knew and he knew I knew and was just rubbing it in my face not to mention after he took the lead in the 7th his pitcher was hitting the 4 corners like it was the nhl skills competition’s accuracy challenge. Whatever I can’t undo it but I would just rather know I’m legitimately losing to people not cheaters.

@mdafurball_PSN usually if they pause for a solid amount of time before they go off they are turning the device on from what I have heard. Idk how true that is it’s my only suspicion tho.

Idk, but its clear sds cant fix the problem, or maybe so many people are doing it that they fear if they banned them they might let a nickels worth or potential microtransacrions roll out the door.

@go4stros25_PSN ok I’m sorry but if ur cheating they wouldn’t be losing micro transactions as these people are probably all stub millionaires. They cheat to get all the rewards as quick as possible and not to mention endless br flawless’s. If anything fixing this would help sds make more money it would bring so many people back.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN that doesn't sound like a cheater. When you face a cheater they will swing instantly at any pitch in the strike zone and perfect perfect it. They will not swing at ANYTHING out of the strike zone. The only way to deal with cheaters is back foot sliders as they pass through the strike zone triggering a swing.

@ryguy034753_XBL yeah the more I look back and read it this guy doesn’t seem like the real cheaters I’ve played that 5 pitches into the game have 5 perfect perfects. I think I’m more aless brainwashed and now blame stuff on cheating now that Ik there’s over 40 thousand of them out there.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN the only 2 cheaters I've for sure played were during the weekend classic. And just like you said, the first 5 pitches were all perfect HR. I then threw only Blackfoot sliders for rest of game and they didn't get a single hit but swang at every single one. Ended up losing 5-4.

Interesting so would this work for any pitch that starts in the zone and suddenly moves out last minute like high and in cutters away sinkers? Cause the only fix I’ve heard for cheaters is o’day and Rodgers.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN I believe so yes, but it has to have a big enough break to cross the zone.

Is that what's happening with the seemingly random minute pauses? I always thought it was, like, a kid playing who then had his dad take over or a friend having another better friend play for them. Never thought about the formal cheating angle. But it is very strange how some of the teams I've played who haven't hit anything, pause the game, then come back and hit significantly better.

Because these kinds of peole come from a never taught about how good it feels to accomplish something by working hard. I would guess most of them probably played on a sports team while a child and got a trophy because they showed up. Then sat the bench through junior high and high school, but still talk about how THEY were the reason the team won state. Now as adults they get mad because they think everything should be handed to them, yet can't actually work hard. So they cheat to make themselves feel accomplishment, yet at the end of the day they still know they can't win without it and thus just continue to do so.
