Lack of Content and ways to get stubs

I get that there is the mini-seasons grind, but who wants to sit there and play the same thing for 5 hours? It gets boring; they need to add more ways to make stubs and get more XP. These weekly little content drops aren't enough, we need more things added to the game, like in programs, they need to be adding more than 4-5 players.

@luv-hogie_XBL THIS. THIS THIS THIS. Grinding this thing, while it provides better rewards than anything else currently, is really starting to grow old on me. People are like "why don't you grind mini seasons" when I bring up the lack of ways to grind single player, and this is why lack of stuff to grind in single player is a problem! I'm getting bored with the game! I'm going off to play Dishonored sometimes just to have something different.

Content is severely lacking. I would love for SDS to create new ways of playing but personally I would be fine with continuing to play mini seasons, conquest, and diamond quest. I am not a developer so I'm open to being wrong, but is it really that hard to put out different mini season formats and conquest maps. How about a mini season that requires your team to be made of players who all played on the same team.
To their credit stub making is in my opinion the easiest it's ever been and this is the first year I can set a stub goal or player acquisition goal and know I can complete the goals in a measurable way.

I’ve grinded the WBC mini season about 10 or so times. The 10 pack and BIAH packs are good enough.
It will be all I can do to finish the New Threads one. Took me 10 games to score the runs necessary to get Helsley. 1-0 games on vet all the stinking time. It is not fun. Need 9 k’s with helsley and I’ll be done!!

Stub making is as easy as its ever been, its just boring. Like, if you were determined to play the whole weekend day to night, and you just set up your mountain dew and doritos like you were 15 again - you could probably make 200k stubs. But gosh, it would be boring.

@luv-hogie_XBL it literally has 1 foot in the grave and one on a banana peel. The cheating has ruined it, the continued empty promises, see shrinking pitches as its not just sliders. Josh Hader issue they've known about for 2 years now. Lack of offline content.
Listen i get it every company is in business to make money. However, before you go microtransaction leaning, you better have a good product. They do not. people will pay for things they want and have fun with most will regardless of price.
SDS has lost their way. Their continued silence about the issues, and excitement about content that people are just pooping all over is inexcusable.
Stream Friday? Where we will see the cheerleader, and her tag along partner who can't pronounce players names right all excited about content...but nothing absolutely nothing about the actual issues at hand.
Go play Resident Evil, the new D4 expansion dropped, you'll find me there tonight after the kids are in bed.
I love this game, i want a reason to turn on my xbox and get excited. It's just not there anymore.

They will brag about how the content can be completed in 20 minutes so you dont have to play until the next content drop, which will be in 2 weeks since we have weekend classic to kill the game for offline players

@ryancostello620_NSW I don’t have a problem with these modes, but we need more of them. We need new DQ’s. We need new conquests and at least 1 repeatable with sellable rewards. We need more mini seasons. Luckily, we’re getting these on Friday, finally.

unfortunately, I don't think they'll allow sellable rewards for much longer- let alone add them. There's a definite blatant heavy push towards MTX this year...I think because they know the looming MLB strike and the release of GTA VI is gonna nuke their sales for next year.

Grinding mini seasons isn't really that rewarding even with the packs. Not when you get the same cards over and over again ( silver equipment, 3 commons, and a bronze 99% of the time) and the Ballin packs are nothing but the same golds over and over also. If I get another Springer out of a Ballin pack I am gonna lose my mind. The best diamond I have pulled is Wheeler, most are 85s and worth a few K stubs.

The miniseasons thing provides more packs than we’ve ever gotten and I personally have pulled close to nothing statistically- my stub count has been gained from gold cards at quicksell - and RL money spent (200.00) and I’m nowhere near close to 95 Miggy with way way way embarrassing playtime
It’s not an issue of “git gud” and I don’t want to hear anymore about “odds are odds doncha know”
Even gacha games have the sympathy guarantee - if they’re going full gacha mode they need a relief where you’re guaranteed a certain player pull after x stubs
As it stands they give none of those guarantees and I pull [censored] or get low round in every, single, pack it seems.
This is very discouraging to players
I’ll have multiple packs in a row show up with 2 of the same player - what are the odds of that? In the same pack ceremonial opening.
Rarer than Ohtani but it continues to happen
Open a Pattys day or whatever threads premier pack and 3 of the same McNeil shows up? Give me some odds on that.

Also definitely not coming out in 4 months - if one thing Rockstar depends on it’s a smooth launch - and they’ll test the living [censored] out of every minute detail before a launch

They have a reputation because they are GOOD and they SPEND on quality before it has a chance to go backwards

@Teak2112_MLBTS GTA 5 is still extremely popular 12+ years later. It’s top 5 in highest selling games of all time. Lots of people are going to be on GTA and ignoring other games.

Yeah it’s easy to tell something is off and any sane person can only do that mini seasons grind so much only to be disappointed with 10 packs of garbage before they say screw it id rather watch paint dry.
When it’s clear to see no progress is being made either in cards or stubs people just stop trying.
