I have completed all challenges and events. I have also played for over a decade and the pack odds are 1000 times worse than ever. I’ve spent about $1500 dollars also which is my fault but don’t have half the collections done. The show was the one game that packs were great. I am at the point of quitting because between the thousands of packs and grinding I still don’t have anything done. I can even buy two $100 bundles and get the chase diamond but that’s it. It’s not worth it. Which is a shame because i’ve always loved the game. Good luck….

I'm calling BS on this, if you've played for 10 years you'd know pack odds suck, they've always sucked, and you'd also know that for $1500 you could have gotten most of the players for those collections.

Well I hate to have to inform you but the pack odds are just the same as always. Thing people always forget is when you get a diamond jersey, equipment, sponsorship in the first spot those ARE considered to be diamonds and count towards the projected 1-50. Also if you've spent $1500 and don't have ANY collection done and play that much then you are spending on packs which is INSANE. I am in no way telling you mot to because it's your money, but would advise that if your spending that much (basically equals 2.4 million stubs) then you aren't using buy orders. While live series is crazy stubs again this year I'm free to play (by choice) and I'm only about 200k stubs from ohtani and could buy the last 3 AL gate keepers if I wanted since I'm sitting on 500k now. If you do choose to spend (your money and choice go for it if you want/can) then use the stubs to get cards not packs. You can spend 50k stubs (ultra pack cost) to buy ALL of a single collection basically, heck even 70% of the live series teams are less then a combined 80k right now.

Im not gonna shame you for spending money. I do too. I will however tell you that if you are spending 1500 and grinding but dont have the collection done then you might just have a gambling problem.

SDS has created a virtual gambling syndicate. You proud of yourselves SDS that your marketing folks have created an environment where people are induced to drop $1,500 in six weeks for virtual trinkets?
I know that a corporation is profit motivated, but that used to mean not to the extent that all moral concepts were abandoned. Our entire society has become hyper tuned with gambling, and manipulating pack odds to encourage people to drop real money post-sale for stubs to buy more packs is nothing more than an open invitation to gamblers anonymous.

It’s amazing how our opinions of the game shifts a little bit when our pack pulls improve and we feel like our time is being rewarded no matter what mode we choose to play. I also did the survey and it was not very favorable. However, last night after playing some CPU games, I opened up 16 show packs and 6 ballin’ packs. I got pretty much nothing in the show packs, but in one of my last ballin’ packs I hit 2 diamonds in the same pack. It was Skubal and Corbin Carroll. I got a couple more packs collecting some cards soon after and pulled Cal Raleigh, who I sold. My pack pulls have been downright terrible the last 3 years and the game has just been tedious with all the store packs and nerfs to XP. For the first time in many months I walked away from MLB with a good feeling. SDS, as well as the other sports game developers, need to understand that sometimes your player engagement goes up more when you are rewarding players for their time. Morale goes down, and you lose your player base, if you are constantly monetizing your game and nerfing everything else to force players into playing modes they don’t want to and spending money they don’t have or shouldn’t be spending. Take note SDS. I spent way more money on this game when I was be rewarded more for just playing. I also played for more months in those years.

@VanHammer34_XBL listen dude I was blowing money left and right on madden and I may just not get the game this year sometimes it’s just not worth it. If u have the money great all the power too u if this is what makes u happy go for it but sometimes just think of maybe other things u can spend the money on or maybe just throw it into a retirement account or smt.

I just blew 163k on Jose Ramirez and 49k on Blake Treinen. It pained me to do that especially since those cards will be barely used all to complete this stupid collection for another card I probably won't use ever.

lol, I know you have a smooth brain, but if you have any reading comprehension, you’d see it tells you right on the odds sheet that’s it’s 1:50 for a Diamond PLAYER, anything in that first slot is not counted in the odds. It’s why they moved non-LS diamond player pulls to that first slot last year.
