MLB the RHH Show ‘26
-
Why does SDS have such a hard on for RHH rewards every year:
Tulo, Albert, Jackie, Tatis / Garcia WBC, now 2 Miggy Cabreras
99 Jeter, Sosa and Big Mac all in the same year.
99 frank Thomas and Clemente the same year.
99 biggio and Sheffield the same year
99 Rolen last year

@bjd10048_MLBTS They have no foresight. They continue to throw stuff against the wall and see what sticks. Whoever is planning content should be replaced.
-
As somebody who perfers lefty’s as a left handed hitter irl this is annoying. Prepare to get spammed with inside sinkers.
-
Relying on AI for these numbers
The historical breakdown for MLB batters is roughly as follows: Batting Hand Estimated % of Players (Historical) % of Plate Appearances (Recent) Right-Handed ~65% – 70% ~60% Left-Handed ~20% – 25% ~30% – 35% Switch-Hitter ~5% – 10% ~8% – 10%In the game just looking at legends and Flashbacks
Righties = 55.5%
Lefties = 34.5%
Switch = 10%By the end of the game everyone will be rocking all switch hitting teams anyway.
-
@Dolenz_PSN The problem is the lack of balance this early with all the top cards. Sure it won’t matter in a month or 2, but this is awful planning during the most important time of the game cycle.
-
@Dolenz_PSN I’m very aware there are more RHH. What does that have anything to do with choosing all RHH for the 99’s and rewards we have this year.
Forgot to add Bo Bichette was a collection reward too.
Here’s a stat for you: 4 99’s, all righties. Can you put that into your AI formula? Spoiler, it’s 100%. You’re not smarter than anyone.
-
New Chase pack is another righty too. Unbelievable.
-
Miggy by far is the best out of the 3 99 hitters we have in the game rn defence aside he has best swing.
-
love that Tulo couldn’t even make it through April with the best righty bat in the game

-
@GoozeFn_PSN and they refuse to give cards secondary positions. I woudl gladly spend the stubs the get biggio, but where woudl i put him? They want us to not run the the switch hitting meta, but we cant field a team with the other players because they only play 1 position.
If biggio could play catcher I would use him instead on adley.

Even my program has the best offensive players as
- 99 Cabrera
- 99 Tulowitzki
- 99 Pujols
- 95 Cabrera
- 94 Ramirez
Then shockingly the two players who are supercharged (Alvarez and Vargas)
Tulowitzki has a total of 1,650 total attribute points to Cabrera's 1,396. But all of those extra points are in Fielding and Speed. Power vs L is the only batting attribute that Tulowitzki has an edge in.
I guess the good news is that they are not competing for a spot in the lineup
-
@Dolenz_PSN Tulo’s defense is invaluable. He’s easily the best card in the game.

Yeah, if I use my overall Meta the rankings become
- Tulowitzki
- Pujols
- Cabrera
- Pedroia
- Robinson
This takes into account fielding and speed as well as hitting (although hitting attributes are still the most heavily weighted)
-
@Dolenz_PSN I’m always happy to see that there are still things humans are better at than computers. Cabrera is more valuable than Pujols and Pedroia doesn’t belong anywhere near this list.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN yes Tulos defence makes him more valuable I agree. But miggy is viable at 3b and the best bat in the game.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN can’t say I agree with this one tho Pedroia is an Absolute stud hitting .330 for me bats leadoff has best defence in the game next to tulo has sneaky pop he definitely belongs near that list.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN I agree Cabrera is the best offensive player, but Tulo’s defense easily makes up the difference and then some. I don’t see it with Pedroia. The power is unplayable to me. There are a ton of cards that are far better, Tatis, Trout even Ketel at 2B. Defense at 2B is not as important.
-
I have about 20 Ish at bats with the 95 miggy and have him parallel up to a 98 and so far I’m not really impressed by the swing. I’m not saying it’s necessarily bad but I would say tulo low and Pujols are both better when you factor in attributes defense
Maggie has felt a tad slow and not really generating the power I was hoping for
-
@bjd10048_MLBTS I’m loving the swing and I have the 99.
-
@bjd10048_MLBTS Pujols as a hitter is a argument tulo I struggled with out the gate he’s redeemed himself tho it’s picking hairs between the 3 at the plate for me they all sit around .300 defence yes tulo and Pujols are better.
