Can’t get anyone out anymore. Every opponent I’ve been matched up against has an average in the .400s and an ERA in the 7.00s. Been losing a lot of games 9-5, 10-6, 7-5. Everone just times it up and swings at anything. Doesn’t matter the location and they connect. I’m putting perfect releases in the dirt and the pitch is floating over the plate for a homer. Seems like the players and the devs don’t care much about pitching as the hitting cards are so far ahead. I rely on my pitching and am just getting my brains bashed in in this high scoring environment. Man I hope some better pitching comes on Friday.

Very next game I play after this, very first pitch I throw is a change up in the dirt, which is hit over the wall for a homer. Had several animations fail to lock in and had a bases loaded rally killer when my runner decided to just stop in the middle of the bases during what should’ve been a game tying single. Quit in the third when I was getting demolished again. Looked at my opponents stats after the game. He’s slashing 393/416/869 and has an era of 11.71 through 45 games. I’m I just getting unlucky with this constrant stream of gooms and horrible gameplay or is this how the game is this year?

I dont know if its the poor control on pitchers, or internet being bad at warping pitches....but it is way more common this year for me to make a good pitch that ends up nowhere near where I wanted the pitch (usually ends up floating in the middle).

Honestly, this is probably realistic - real pitchers do this all the time. But on all star difficulty, a lot of players are just raking now. Expanding strike zone would help.

When is comes to actual gameplay, graphics, etc…SDS is by far the worst developer for sports game and it’s not even close. On the flip side, content is great. Sad to see the gameplay team dragging this game through the mud.

That's part of it, absolutely. Another bit to this issue is that any miss, regardless of how slight, does that bug where it defaults to the smallest sliver of ball touching the outer-most part of the PAR...which when you're trying to hit spots is right over the middle. I remember OhChev talking about it on one of his streams a couple years back.

That was a major issue a few years ago and it's definitely back again.

SDS has admitted there's an issue with cheating, but no in so many words. I've seen vid after vid and ad after ad on my reel feed showing all the different software and hardware that plays the game for you. So they've been very careful about how they're admitting it because they're afraid it'll drive the honest players away...and they're worried that some of their precious streamers will be outed. Not all streamers but I'd wager more than a few, anyways.

My experience in I think 9 ranked games and 6 weekend classic has been largely good. I'm ps5 and have crossplay off.

I have the basic stuff like hitters are slow out of the box, bad jumps, etc but I guess I've been lucky otherwise.

Yesterday I knew a guy was sitting on fastballs and I threw one inside off the plate by a good bit and he crushed it over the lf head and not even down the line. I pull soooo many inside pitches foul so not sure how he did that.

I also think Dustin may has a glitch release where the ball kind'vjumps up initially out of his hand abs his arm in the last second kind've darts down.

People are playing now events too which im sure is positively impacting the averages.

Maybe play a few games at pitchers parks or dead no elevation stadiums? That should lessen the offense

This irks me so much...especially on hits that should be easy jogging doubles. I's' almost like they're admiring a home run or something initially.
