What happened to offline content?

That’s what I mean. The whole game got much worse for offline players and online players have to deal with cheaters and sweats because no new players are going to even try at this point. Part of me hopes this just sinks the show for good and from it we get a new baseball game that actually cares about delivering a quality experience.
Truthfully, the game has been dying for years and this just may be the end as they have made it clear that the future direction of this game is online play and aggressive monetization. If I had known they were killing offline players this year I would have walked away after 25 and never looked back.

I agree with so much here. I gave up on online a few years ago. It's to reliant on your connection to the server and its just to random with RNG, patience and timing are never really rewarded. I hate that you can't complete some collections or obtain certain cards unless you suffer the online play and the offline content seems minimal with not much thought put into it

Bring back Inning programs. Game worked so well when it was structured like that.

@go4stros25_PSN this game needs a nhl or madden style franchise complete tear down what we have now and build from the ground up. Idk if u have played either of those franchises but they are rly well done. This games franchise is aweful and has been for years.

I was just checking their X post on the Conquest that dropped because I forgot the cards and the first comment I saw under the post was
Offline content has been good. Please add more incentive to play ONLINE. Rewards that can rival repeated mini seasons

MP Program -
5 90+ cards
90K xp towards general reward path (basically 3 wheel spins)
3 Deluxe CHOICE packs (Offline has to buy those)
1 Premier choice pack (Offline has to buy those)
65 Show packs
8500 stubs
2 BIAH packsAverage Offline programs -
Roughly 10K xp

1 special pack (easter, JR Day, etc)

Online should have a wheel at the end of the ranked track, if you are good at online the ranked track wont take you too long and then there are no rewards. At least offline players can repeat their day 1 content. And probably need to do so 8+ hours a day if they want to complete the inning track.
I guess you could say BR and Events (when active) have repeat value if you are VERY good at the game but thats not a large group of people

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN that multi player program is way too short. Most people are finishing it in less than a week. You must have not played prior to 24. All the modes had programs including ranked, br and events. You are counter productive with your comment. At least you offline players have repeatable things you can do. Right now both are bad. People need to stop coming on here and saying one has it worse than the other. If we argue nothing will get fixed.

Ive owned every game since 2006...
It doesnt matter how "short" the program is. You're still getting all those rewards on top of the XP path rewards and all the offline content rewards. Online players arent doing one or the other. Offline players get table scraps while the online players get the full meal. As far as offline repeatable content, we have a repeatable conquest for a single GOLD card and mini seasons for a 10 pack. Which online players can play too so you can gtfo with your nonsense.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN yea but those two games have terrible ultimate team and madden franchise is actually viable due to the amount of people who will do an online franchise. But madden gameplay is way worse than mlb the show. Hut is cool but it’s kinda like fut where people will just spam the same moves over and over again. Plus it lacks a good market and content.

So… here’s a weird take:
I 100% agree that off-line content is a little “eh” this year. However… I have actually found myself playing the game a lot more this year at this point than I had already by this point last year. I don’t know why.

@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS oh yeah no mlb the show is my favourite ultimate team mode by far probably because it’s the easiest to be nms.
