At the start of the game we got 3 mini seasons in the first 2 weeks. 4 good sized conquest maps. Starter DQ and one real DQ.

Over the last month however we have gotten 1 effectively starter DQ, 1 showdown, and 2 small conquest maps. And the latest conquest map had cards that should have been in the program in place of the rewards, with just scattered show and ballin packs throughout.

And the calendar looks barren for the next week.

If the best thing to do in late April is launch day content than there is a content issue

    @Teak2112_MLBTS

Yep as an offline player I’ve been saying that for the past couple weeks. I’m done with all offline content and finished team affinity during the first inning. That helped me finish with around 700xp.

This inning I’m stuck around 130xp and not moving as I’m already sick of grinding mini seasons for a 10 pack bundle of worthless commons and bronzes.

Between the lack of offline content and horrendous pack pulls I’ve basically backed off the game. A month in and I’m hitting a wall and questioning the future direction of this game.

Other than the initial WBC content this year’s game has been abysmal.

It doesn't help that any offline content that comes out is super quick and easy to do. Its like its supposed to take you 20 minutes...and then, you're just supposed to go back to online gaming.

I'd prefer if offline content were both longer and more challenging. Otherwise, its really just presented as "that thing you do for half hour before moving back to online play"

Release something like NBA 2K's Greatness program (granted some people flew through that), a long grind that you do as you play the game, and unlock cards along the way.

The 2K parallel I would like to draw here is domination.
Almost every season launches with this, its a big grind with some optional challenges that provides good rewards and great xp towards the battle pass.

They are struggling because no one is playing online. I tried to grind the event last night and found one game in an hour.

XP grind offline is terrible. Just not enough Xp awarded for playing CPU games. I wish we could at least get some more XP for repeating mini-seasons. It’s crazy that we can play 3 full 9-inning CPU games scoring a bunch of runs, getting lots of hits, and pitching perfect games and get less than 8-10k XP for all that time. I ended up with around 350k in Inning One, and I’m not sure I’m gonna get to 500k this time either unless they double XP for longer and give more XP in programs. It’s ultimately just gonna make me want to stop playing. I’ve never had this hard of a time completing innings in previous years.

@beanball0571_PSN because the online content is not good either besides the multi player program. And most people even with them making it harder to get through will have it finished in less than 2 weeks.

No one wants to play battle royale because its impossible to go 10 and o..unless you are a top .00001 percent player even then they need some luck to go their way. Or they are cheating.

Events has gotten better but they also put in an event program that takes very little time to complete as well.

Then we have ranked... ok once you get to world series. [If you can even get to world series] Most players stop there. No one wants to face 1000 ranked no lifers and cheaters.

Ill keep saying it. Bring back online rewards for ranked and battle royale accumaltions with stats. Bring back event awards for wins. Put a wheel at the end of the multi player program at least. Give us something to play for.

Yeah Domination is great. They just need to release another WNBA one.

There are some things that SDS should copy from 2K like Domination, the Greatness program, being able to favorite cards

@beanball0571_PSN it’s a barren wasteland in events. It takes four to five minutes to get a game right now.

@Ditka06_MLBTS apathy. They have become apathetic towards the end user.

Basically what happened to me. I don't play much online; however, usually if I play an event it connects within five seconds max. Last night I only connected twice and the one time I had to back out cause the selection screen was super laggy. I couldn't believe it was that inactive...in APRIL.

@MetalDoc17_XBL The xp is painfully slow. We aren’t getting as many chunks as we got last year. The xp path also isn’t very rewarding. For 500k xp you get:

    7750 stubs
    2 cards no one uses
    14 standard packs
    1 boss pack
    2 deluxe packs
    1 premier pack
    3 ballin packs
    1 headliner
    3 gold wbc packs

It could take days of xp to get a few standard packs. That’s crazy. I will say that I’m happy they removed the icons and useless stuff, but single standard packs for thousands of xp, no bundles is weak.

Definitely need a repeatable conquest map with worthwhile rewards. Even a decent size one with a 5 or 10 pack (depending on map size) and some XP at the end of each time would be something

I’ve been playing since ‘21, it’s clear that SDS is no longer nudging us to play online, they are FORCING us to play online. Like many of us offline only, I finished every offline program in the first inning, except New Threads mini season. Completed 6 runs of WBC mini season. I came no where close to finishing the first inning. I play my games in Vet.

    It’s very discouraging

I’ll edit and added that we know SDS monitors stuff like this and will adjust. (At least I hope they do)

I agree. We need more offline content. I’d love a new Team Affinity program and at least a repeatable conquest. Honestly I’d like a lot more thanthat but I guess that’s wishful thinking.

I’ve enjoyed grinding out the team affinity rewards — I completed all 30 Jolt cards a few days ago. But I’d like something else worthwhile to do offline than playing WBC mini seasons over and over and over again.

Each of the last couple content drops I’ve been excited to have something new to do, then I see it takes maybe 30 min total and then you’re back to WBC mini season for the next week.
