Has the difficulty changed

Anybody play this game just for the fun of it, being able to hit the ball for a home run or gaining a hit almost every pitch. I play on the easiest difficulty and I even changed the slides to make it easy but after the last update most of the CPU pitches go out the strike zone and they pitch different ball types instead of the common 4sfb. I only play Road to the show.

What mode are you playing rookie or Beginner -
If you're playing on beginner, they will use their best fastball. It could be 2 seam, sinker, cutter or 4 seam. It doesn't always go right down the middle if they have no control.
If it's rookie, they will use different pitches and location.

Thank you so much. I had it on rookie, and now I changed it to beginner and its back to how I like it.
