Maybe someone can explain - I don't understand the PXP system. It looks like gold boosts unlock if you meet certain milestones - but by the time you do those things, my players are usually maxed out at P5 anyway....so how do you ever put a player on a gold-level stat boost?

Scroll into the parallel section of the player - Each of the Parallels have a requirement to unlock. Be it hits or home runs or stolen bases

Then you can select the ones you’ve unlocked

They did a really bad job at designing the whole system and explaining it to people

It’s best to leave it at silver until you’re P5. The P5 boosts are awesome, the gold ones are all kinda meh

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Not true. All golds open at 3k pxp + the stat missions which is P3.

Yeah it’s pretty confusing the way they laid it out but spend some time in the parallel section and you can see the requirements whatever they may be.

So far besides the obvious power/contact the speed/fielding boosts at p5 are crazy good.

They each have different requirements. For power you need a certain amount of homeruns, contact is hits, fielding is innings. You’ll unlock some before others everytime. Once you go to diamond you can take the +5 or pick from the specific ones once you get the requirements which at that point will be multiple things like inning played and hits. Or Homeruns AND hits. You can also still select the gold or silver boosts if you wanted.

Contact-Fielding seems really good IMO. You don’t just get contact boosts you also get vision and clutch, which is basically contact on both sides with RISP. Then with fielding you also get arm strength power and still get some speed boosts. Just lots of free attributes vs adding 6 or 7 power per side….

Most, if not all, of the Gols boosts have one requirement of having 10,000 PXP with that player.

So, if they still start P5 at 8,000 PKP, you have to at least get 2,000 more while they're P5.

P5 is 10k pxp this year

If your players are P5 you should probably have diamond mods unlocked anyway..

Contact fielding is my go to, or speed / fielding. I think one of them is +20 speed or it feels like it. Didn’t study their graphs too long

OK, I get it - I thought you had to have the player "on the boost" when they gained the level. Sounds like you can just wait till they're p5 and then put them on boost - that's cool, makes sense

Yeah it’s pretty cool it just kind of sucks that for all intents and purposes it’s best to stay silver (+ to all stats) until P5. They didn’t think it through too well

I think they should start the power creep at silver cards and let you p10 them (to get them up to where they'd be with p5 now)
