WHERE’S NEW EQUIPMENT???

Seriously, it’s 2026 and we still don’t have hand guards, elbow guards over the jersey, ski masks, etc. When is the last time SDS even touched equipment and added something new?? It’s been literally years which is so lazy and not right. Baseball fans are nerds and 100% care about stuff like this, so why doesn’t SDS? Say what you want about EA, but they add detailed things like this around equipment every year and even throughout the year AFTER madden launches. C’mon SDS, you guys are so much better than this and fans like myself want immersion as much as possible. We’re on year 6 of a Playstation FIVE, there’s no excuse. Please give us at least 1 of the above equipment adds in some of these patches coming up. It would make a big difference for fans like myself.

I got excited just seeing a picture that they might have an option to have the top button of jerseys unbuttoned. Wasn’t true of course. Such a minor thing that could make a big difference when it comes to visual differences year to year.

IMO modern baseball players have too much equipment. Never mind all the players who have mismatched equipment colors (looking at you Acuña). Would love to see players go back to just wearing the uniform and grabbling the lumber.

Ok well your opinion doesn’t change reality. SDS should try to replicate what is happening IRL with player equipment.

Why not just bubble wrap all the players and have their mommies make sure they don't get hurt playing the game? Maybe that would protect all the players. Funny how older generations didn't have all this equipment and got hurt far less than the modern player does.

… it’s just a lack of effort on everything other than diamond dynasty. They use that lame hitting view where u can’t see ur player so apparently the graphics and adding new gear is irrelevant …. They still have those Nike compression sleeves from 2019 that no one wears anymore. No diamond chains, no new balance batting gloves or gear, no low cut Nike cleats, no large Nike batting gear (apparently you can only have one of each) no hand guards, no new adidas batting gloves , the lame under armor sleeve that doesn’t match colors has got to go, I can go on forever but yeah they just make new programs and drops for DD and that’s all they really seem to put time into anymore….We can’t even have 2 jersey presets for home and away and it’s 2026! If u want to wear white at home and team
Color away u have to change it every time! Want to make your guy wearing baby blue? Too bad u only get the aqua color they’ve given us for years ….. how about a color wheel and we just edit colors? Again , it’s 2026!I can’t even make cleats or batting gloves a solid color with a white logo or white with just a solid color logo…: the most basic stuff mostly everyone wears and there’s no option to make white Nike batting gloves with a colored logo and those hideous adidas batting gloves where u can edit everything but the logo. Jordan batting gloves, Bruce bolts, sure change everything but the logo?! It’s insane and just lazy….
