Why not just bubble wrap all the players and have their mommies make sure they don't get hurt playing the game? Maybe that would protect all the players. Funny how older generations didn't have all this equipment and got hurt far less than the modern player does.

… it’s just a lack of effort on everything other than diamond dynasty. They use that lame hitting view where u can’t see ur player so apparently the graphics and adding new gear is irrelevant …. They still have those Nike compression sleeves from 2019 that no one wears anymore. No diamond chains, no new balance batting gloves or gear, no low cut Nike cleats, no large Nike batting gear (apparently you can only have one of each) no hand guards, no new adidas batting gloves , the lame under armor sleeve that doesn’t match colors has got to go, I can go on forever but yeah they just make new programs and drops for DD and that’s all they really seem to put time into anymore….We can’t even have 2 jersey presets for home and away and it’s 2026! If u want to wear white at home and team
Color away u have to change it every time! Want to make your guy wearing baby blue? Too bad u only get the aqua color they’ve given us for years ….. how about a color wheel and we just edit colors? Again , it’s 2026!I can’t even make cleats or batting gloves a solid color with a white logo or white with just a solid color logo…: the most basic stuff mostly everyone wears and there’s no option to make white Nike batting gloves with a colored logo and those hideous adidas batting gloves where u can edit everything but the logo. Jordan batting gloves, Bruce bolts, sure change everything but the logo?! It’s insane and just lazy….

Alright, here we go…
- Where TF is the Bruce Bolt elbow guard
- Update the Franklin elbow guard
- Changing colors should be an option for all equipment (some cleats are as is)
- More colors (that players actually wear)
- If the whole just get Nike and Jordan by luck of the draw, is a market price issue, then simply make every piece of their gear available in “Nike” packages that can be bought with stubs. You’re killing us, nerds that actually enjoy matching up gear and filling out the whole aesthetic on RTTS.
We would really just like an update and upgrade. More availability would be paramount at the end of said process.

I also wish they’d add more equipment but they probably have to pay for these things to be in the game. They can either pay for these or pay former players.

I haven’t played RTTS in a few years but don’t you have to earn it there?

IMO modern baseball players have too much equipment. Never mind all the players who have mismatched equipment colors (looking at you Acuña). Would love to see players go back to just wearing the uniform and grabbling the lumber.
Not really related to the OP, but on that theme, perhaps if anytime a pitcher hits a batter the pitcher, pitching coach, and manager would be ejected from the game -- no questions asked and no reprieves, then hitters could be denied equipment.
But, with pitchers throwing max effort and hitting 98 plus all the time on their four seamers, the injury risk from getting hit is now so much higher than it was when the average four seamer ran around 91. The kinetic energy difference between 99 and 90 is tremendous. And these newest pitchers don't have the control to throw inside without hitting the batters.
