Amateur Hitting Has Changed?

In last year's game, in amateur hitting the it would be the same pitch thrown over and over again. While in this year's game, during an at bat, the pitcher can throw many different types of pitches. How do I change that?

Beginner mode is all fastballs.

@Tandil1368_XBL it isn't im getting off speed pitches like change up sliders curveball even on Amateur hitting mode. While playing daily exhibition games. Why?

Amateur mode is tge lowest level that uses all pitches. Beginner mode throws only strikes. It’s been that way for years. I don’t play exhibition games, I only play RTTS but the controls are the same.

@Tandil1368_XBL the beginner mode last year always through the ball right down the middle, this years game on beginning mode in exhbition it throws it all over the place with offspeed pitches. So I cant change it?

I just tried it on my RTTS and beginner mode with dynamic off it just tosses some form of a fastball depending on pitchers arsenal. It moves around but never outside the strike zone. If you are playing online or co-op beginner mode is not available if I remember correctly
Thanks for the achievement that I would not have gotten lol I don’t play anything but RTTS. I just played an exhibition from today’s Marlins vs Yankees game with the settings I suggested and all were some form of fastball and always in the box. Just like my test on RTTS. Also, try sliding the “Dynamic Difficulty “ slider to the right. With dad turned off it shouldn’t matter to be honest.
