Editing Pitcher Repertoires

Editing pitchers’ repertoires is something I’ve been doing in recent years, and I’m wondering what your opinion of that is. Do you think it gives you an unfair advantage, say, if you add a pitch or two, including a breaking ball that has a decent amount of break and that’s not just a low break breaking ball?
In my opinion, it can, but the game allows you to do it. Plus, you still have to provide the right controller input.
