Marketplace Restriction from Legit Flipping / Website Use

Anybody have a definitive answer yet as to if I flip on console will I get penalized for it? Is it just app flipping that is frowned upon now or is it flipping in general. Not rly willing to risk a ban on my account as I do a lot more on this game then flip. I’m not just a no life flipper but I enjoy it from time to time as a break from ranked.

@GoozeFn_PSN I started notice things getting bad last year. Your view and opinion was always opposite of mine.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN according to a Reddit post with an SDS email screenshot from a guy whose account was suspended for app/web market, you can flip from the game no problem.

@aaronjw76_PSN so maybe wrong is it just flipping on the app they are cracking down on? Flipping on the console is fine they are just trying to take out people who use app?
I find it very hard to believe people flipping on the app via legitimate means are getting restricted. Yesterday I had over 400 individual transactions, mostly done via the app and no restrictions on my account.
I feel like there are some people not telling the whole story (including SDS) about what's REALLY being done.

@aaronjw76_PSN yeah idk it’s weird cause my app was down but I was only doing ls silver cards. would only do 10 orders at a time wait for those to go thru 10 more rinse and repeat I wasn’t going over the top. I would do it for a max hour or 2 while just laying in bed watching a ball game.

@aaronjw76_PSN i know I flip in the app ...nothing excessive..just a couple orders a day during down time at work...I was restricted but back now .and that is the truth and the whole story

@aaronjw76_PSN I’ve been doing the same thing for years. Never broke any rules. Just working within their system. I don’t care whether or not you believe me. This is the first time anything like this has happened to me.

All they need to do is explain what the plan is or whatever ..what their new rules are.. something

I've also been restricted in the app and got the same copy-pasted response when reaching out to support. Crickets since then after asking for more information. Like OP, I enjoy flipping to get live series rewards NMS, maybe that makes me weird, but its a part of the game I enjoy. I've flipped bronze live series and gold equipment pretty heavily so far this year. I got Tulo on Monday night, only to find my app restricted on Tuesday. To echo a lot of the responses in here, I just want clear communication. All of my transactions were done by me, no bot was involved. What part of the ToS did I break? Why was my account restricted? Is this an accident where I got caught up with the bots? An intentional decision to limit stub-making without buying them in the shop? Either way, I'm very frustrated after years of being an SDS defender.

@GoozeFn_PSN change the rules and ban people who weren’t even informed about a rule change… it’s not even the rule change the makes me question this. It’s that this is about to be going on 72 hours of this after today and we are still to get a explanation from anybody on the inside.

I have tried not to comment much on this situation but I can't help to kind of see the irony of the situation.
Those who complained the most about bots were the dedicated flippers who said that bots were killing their margins. Then when SDS tries to do something to thwart bots many of those flippers also got caught in the net.

@Dolenz_PSN I’m not even a dedicated flipper I’ll do it once in a while to take a break from ranked. I do it late nights watching baseball for a hour maybe 2 max and only do 10 orders at a time. I may make 10k off this nothing crazy and I just gained access to the app again yesterday afternoon. Like I’ve said I also try to stay positive and back sds when I can cause there human it’s there jobs they work hard at this and I like to give people benifit of the doubt. But if nothing comes by midnight today we will be going on day 3 of no communication on the error whatsoever which seems ridiculous to me considering they are working it’s not a weekend. But idk I’m trying to give them the doubt anyway possible but in this instance it’s getting harder.

@aaronjw76_PSN 100% wrong. I flip only live series cards and have done absolutely NOTHING you're not supposed to. SDS either thinks I'm a bot, or they don't like that I am able to make stubs by flipping. Still am not touching the game until they fix this. 0 communication. 0 response on Twitter or support tickets.

@sds_joek_psn @cbrev47_mlbts - can someone please do something about this? I'm legit about to quit this game I love so much. Sounds dramatic, but as someone who works 60-hour weeks and has a family - I need the app to stay engaged with the game. Without it, I truly have 0 reason to play.

@Dolenz_PSN i have no problem with them trying to correct the bot issue ..if that's what they are attempting..because we still don't know ..my issue is the way they are not letting us know anything..you have to agree it's very poor management.
