Pitching inaccuracy

Why is pitching so bad this year? Amazing how many balls go nowhere near their target and magically hang. The gameplay has some very glaring issues. Offline often has weird glitches and skips like a bad online connection. Feels like something is very off.

I think it’s because this year we’re starting with stronger batters, where last year it felt like the pitchers were stronger out of the chute.
However, to your point: there is a bug that seems to be making its return, and that’s the one where any miss whatsoever defaults to the outermost region of the PAR.

Man I thought that offline skipping was just me hallucinating.

They hacked up control ratings big time plus if a pitcher in real life doesn't throw a certain pitch often that factors in has well now.

@xXx-Jud-xXx_XBL Yes it seems like SDS was correct if a pitcher's 4th or 5th pitch is being spammed it's going to get touched more often.

Yes this has been a problem since last year where occasionally a perfect input and release pitch completely misses the zone. I believe it has to do with bad server and connection. It mostly happens to me when I notice my oppents connection is bad. So I would assume it has to do with your connection trying to slow down to your oppents. I am not certain but I will say out of the 9 ranked games and around 30 event games I've played so far it does happen far less then in 25 where it seemed to be every other game.
