Here are your Opening Day Supercharges -- So Far

I assume that the 3 games today for the 6 teams who did not play yesterday (A's, Blue Jays, Rockies, Marlins, Royals and Braves) will also be Supercharged.

Dominic Canzone should have had a supercharged card.. Unless I missed it
-
The Brandon Lowe New Threads supercharge is still a head-scratcher.

He did not.
For that game they chose Chase DeLauter as the supercharged player.
Remember that opening day supercharges are a bonus that don't necessarily have to meet the criteria that SDS uses for normal Supercharges throughout the year. Normal Supercharges have a set of criteria and for HRs it is normally 3 in a game.
On opening day they just chose one notable player from each game. The only game that received 2 Supercharges was the Mets vs Pirates. Brandon Lowe for the Pirates got one for hitting the first HR of the 2026 season and Francisco Alvarez of the Mets got one for his performance in the game 2-4 with a HR.

The Brandon Lowe New Threads supercharge is still a head-scratcher.
Why? because they gave him one or because they supercharged his New Threads card?
I know that they supercharged Wetherholt's Spring Breakout card but that made sense because he does not have a live series card yet.

McGonigle did something that only 6 players have done since 1900 and no one has since 1990. 4 hits in a debut. The only players younger than him to do it were griffey jr and deshields. They pick Dingler to get supercharged !!! SDS has zero baseball knowledge and credibility that's the reason for every issue this game has and will have.

Tough to supercharge someone who didn't have a live series card in the game at the time. Maybe think for a bit before being a piece of [censored]?

As Teak said McGonigle did not have a card in the game until the Roster update yesterday so there was no card for them to Supercharge. There are a lot of things you can can be upset with SDS about but this is not one of them.
I would say there is a better than average change he and Carson Benge (who also did not have a card until yesterday) are given Topps Now cards, which in my opinion is better than a 3 day supercharge anyway.
If he does not get a Topps Now card then you probably have a right to get angry

I hope sds will add Supercharged filter into squad builder and marketplace
