Spanish language in Game
-
"Dear San Diego Studio team,
As a dedicated fan of MLB The Show, I am writing to strongly request the inclusion of Spanish-language commentary in future editions of the game.
The Latino community represents a massive and passionate part of your player base, just as it does in the real world of Major League Baseball. Other major sports franchises, like EA Sports FC, have shown how much local narration enhances immersion and player loyalty. Adding Spanish-speaking announcers would be a historic step for the millions of fans in Latin America and the Caribbean who support this franchise every year.
We love the game, and we want to hear the excitement of baseball in our own language. Please consider this for The show 27.
Best regards." -
Rickie Ricardo would be a nice addition. He does the Spanish-speaking games for the Yankees, and Eagles of the NFL.
I don't know how much he'd have to be paid, so keep that in mind. -
I was actually thinking this when I saw they had expanded some of the announcer/pa announcer options.
I can't speak Spanish to save my life, but I know for a large part of the Show community this would be a huge win. I hope they do so in the near future for you.
