XP Wheel Picker

So before closing my app, I got a random premier WBC pack in my inventory not knowing what it was from. But as I reopen the app I get the XP picker thing and I do it and I get the WBC pack.
So I'm guessing the game already knows what's it going to give you for the XP and its just giving you an animation to make you feel like you can get something big.
