I can remember the days when pitching AI was really bad especially in AA/AAA, serving up meatballs and making hitting under .400 almost impossible without throwing some at-bats. But now the AI is just ridiculous, throw junk til they are 3 - whatever then turn into Greg Maddux. Clip the strike zone...challenge and lose. Clip the corner, then clip the strike zone again, use up 2nd challenge but they win it by a pixel. If the pitcher had that much control to begin with how are they getting 3 - 0 in the first place? Award patience and make walks possible! Occasionally (like 1 in 4 games) I'll get like 4 almost wild pitches and get a 4 pitch walk. But normally it is 3 then paint-paint-paint. Not one hittable ball (we are all aware by now an inside strike is unhitable).
